This is my first 5 star read in such a long time. I found this book at my local library. I had not hear anything about it, but I liked the cover and it sounded like a good read. I was wrong.....it was a great read. It does cover the topic of self-harm and suicide which are sensitive topics. I have lost a couple people in my life to suicide. Although not in the same relationship with either as the main character does with hers, you can still relate to her journey. I am glad I took a chance on this book. I could not put it down and did not want it to end.
