The book was decent but could have been so much better. A lot of “convenient” fixes for plot holes, a lot of things that just didn’t make sense or hurt the story. (Them meeting 6 months later & states apart so conveniently in his woods, the stopping while being hunted by bad guys to have sex out in the open, I mean come on what were they thinking, I’m a near 60 year old grandmother, & I was like what are they doing- they’re going to get captured!) The main characters are ok, sort of likable. The villains are just too atypical incompetent idiots. This is definitely a book I wouldn’t re-read.
