Hey G2 users!
We’re exploring CPaaS solutions to power real-time communication in our enterprise applications—things like voice, SMS, chat, and in-app messaging. I’ve come across several platforms that seem solid, and I’m curious if anyone has experience with them.
Here are a few leading CPaaS platforms for enterprise teams I’ve found:
-
Bandwidth: Known for giving enterprises more control by offering direct-to-carrier voice and messaging services. It’s especially strong for teams that need deep telecom capabilities and compliance flexibility.
-
Sendbird: Built for in-app messaging, Sendbird supports chat, video, and voice with enterprise-grade security. It’s widely used in industries like healthcare, finance, and marketplaces.
-
Ably: Focuses on real-time data delivery with pub/sub messaging, presence, and low-latency performance. Great for apps that rely on instant user interactions or data sync.
-
Vonage Communications APIs: Offers APIs for SMS, voice, and video with global reach. Vonage is well-suited for companies scaling internationally and needing strong developer support.
-
Twilio: Arguably the most well-known CPaaS provider. Twilio gives you full flexibility with messaging, voice, and email APIs. It’s highly customizable but might be more than needed if you’re not planning to go deep on dev-side builds.
I found these while digging through G2’s enterprise CPaaS software category.
Appreciate any input!
