"Best Backupp"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Once you set it up, you don't have to worry about it again. What I appreciate most is the ability to compare backups and easily identify what might be missing. As a developer, I find this tool especially valuable when working with several organizations and collaborating with multiple team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

The time it takes to complete the same backup seems to change each time, and I wish it were more consistent. Occasionally, the process is much too slow, which can be quite frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Data Protection with a Slight Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

I appreciate how Own from Salesforce simplifies the process of protecting, backing up, and recovering important data without causing any slowdown. The platform feels dependable and operates smoothly, which really helps reduce the stress of managing information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

The only thing I dislike is that some of the setup steps can be confusing at first. It takes a little time to understand all the features, but once you get used to it, everything works really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Salesforce Integration and Easy Recovery, with Helpful Support"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

It seamlessly integrates with Salesforce orgs for normal data as well as metadata backups. I was previously doing weekly exports and this has saved a ton of time and headache. This allowed the implementation of the tool to take an hour of my time. It is extremely easy to recover information in case of issues. You can search and restore information with a fine-tooth comb if you need to which is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

Their SSO documentation for Entra ID (previously Azure AD) was lacking detail, but the Own support team was quick and helpful to solve this issue for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Salesforce Backups with Intuitive UI, but Setup and Costs Can Be ChallengingS"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Own (OwnBackup) provides reliable, automated daily backups of Salesforce data and metadata. The restore and compare capabilities make it easy to recover data lost from user errors or integrations. I especially like the intuitive UI, audit trails, and the ability to perform sandbox seeding quickly for testing and development. It gives strong peace of mind for compliance and data recovery needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

The initial setup and data restore configuration can be a bit complex, and the backup storage costs increase as data volume grows. Sometimes, large-restore jobs take longer than expected, and certain metadata types aren’t fully covered without manual configuration. The UI could also be more modern and integrated directly within Salesforce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Intuitive Salesforce Data Protection with Minor Setup Challenges"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Own provides exceptional data protection and recovery capabilities that integrate seamlessly with Salesforce. I really appreciate how intuitive it is to use — you can easily automate backups, compare data snapshots, and restore lost or corrupted records without needing deep technical knowledge. The transparency and control it gives over Salesforce data are huge advantages, especially for compliance and peace of mind. It’s reliable, secure, and helps ensure business continuity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

While Own provides excellent data protection and recovery features, there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, initial setup and configuration can be a bit complex for teams without dedicated Salesforce admins. Additionally, some advanced reporting and analytics features can feel limited compared to other specialized tools. Occasionally, restore processes for very large datasets can take longer than expected. Overall, these are minor trade-offs compared to the reliability and peace of mind it provides. "Reliable Salesforce Data Protection with Some Cost and Flexibility Drawbacks"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Own from Salesforce is its combination of intelligent automation, deep Salesforce integration, and trust-grade data protection. It gives teams confidence that their Salesforce data is safe, compliant, and easily recoverable—without the complexity of third-party tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

The main drawbacks users highlight about Own from Salesforce are cost intensity, limited hosting flexibility, complexity in scaling for enterprise orgs, API performance constraints, and dependency on add-on analytics tools. Despite these, customers still view it as a reliable solution for critical Salesforce data backup and governance needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and Data Recovery, Though Pricey"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Setting up the system is incredibly straightforward, and searching for or restoring records from nearly any point in time is just as simple. Previously, reversing user imports that resulted in corrupted data was a major hassle, but now correcting these issues has become effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

Honestly, the only real drawback is the cost, since there are less expensive alternatives available. However, the amount of time it saves for back end individuals makes it worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Salesforce Tool"
What do you like best about Own from Salesforce?

Besides knowing that my data is easily recoverable from malicious or erroneous events, it would be how straightforward the platform is to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Own from Salesforce?

Sometimes it can be difficult to understand what exactly you are doing, and because you are dealing with your data, it can be nerve-wracking until you get the hang of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
