What do you like best about Adlumin?

What do you dislike about Adlumin?

I've been an Adlumin client for over 5 years and I've watched the platform transform from basic SIEM to a full MDR,XDR, SOC service. However, in that time, I've also watched the quality of support, performance, useability, and the interface degrade rapidly. I've been very vocal with Adlumin about the issues we've faced submitting tickets, talking with management, etc. however, we've not made any progress with getting issues and feature requests looked at. What problems is Adlumin solving and how is that benefiting you?

Adlumin previously solved a lot of our issues, such as SIEM, SOAR, Darknet Monitoring, Compliance Reporting, SOC, MDR, Vulnerability Management, and more. However, over the last 2 years, these products have failed to perform.

SIEM - Adlumin will only process events they feel are important. If you have custom event IDs or situations you want to monitor, Adlumin will not accommodate them.

SOAR - This is newer to Adlumin, but it appears SOAR is no longer being developed. We've not seen any improvements in ease of use or in reliability of SOAR actually taking the configured action.

Darknet Monitoring - Adlumin states they do darkweb monitoring however, free services such as Have I been pwnd provide better insight.

Compliance Reporting - The reporting is simply wrong. the events and numbers will change depending on when you run the report. Even if you're going back to historical data.

SOC—This is an OK starting point for companies that have never used a SOC. If you've used a SOC service before, you may be disappointed in what Adlumin's SOC will and will not do. We had to cancel the contract due to failure to perform.

MDR—Adlumin's MDR is lacking compared to other MDR services that use AI and other analytics to detect and prevent threats. We had to cancel the contract due to failure to perform.

Vulnerability Management (CVM) - Adlumin's VM product is bulky and not integrated into the portal, and you have zero control over reporting, scanning, etc. Adlumin will tell you how they scan your environment. We had to cancel the contract due to failure to perform.

We've attempted to address these concerns with Adlumin management. However, we have been lied to, ignored, and misled multiple times. In some instances, we've found Adlumin making unapproved changes in our tenant where there are no official audit logs. We've resorted to taking screen prints of each screen morning and evening to ensure we are aware of changes Adlumin makes without our knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adlumin?

What I like the best about Adlumin is their user-friendly interface for security analyst and users ease of navigation combined with an ease of integration as their platform can be integrated from other EDR sources as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What i dislike about the Adlumin's MDR platform is that they also generate a false positive alerts like most MDRs and SIEMs do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adlumin solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a Security Analyst Adlumin MDR platform gives me an edge to investigate a high severity alert with ease by utilizing their 'Endpoint Hunt' tool which is capable of getting crucial information and events that are happening from the host within a specific time frame. What do you like best about Adlumin?

Adlumin checked every box we needed for a small security team including a managed SIEM, endpoint monitoring, and multiple integrations with our current security stack. Pricing was simple and the Support team has been extremely responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Reports are helpful - ability to schedule and run on demand. The Portal is laid out nicely - easy to get a birdseye view of environment. some value add free offerings have been added, and additional API integrations are onboarded regularly. What do you dislike about Adlumin?

If I had to pick a frustration, it would be that the tuning of search rules and API connectors can sometimes be a challenge to massage exactly what kind of alerting and automated response out of the system.
