ADP SmartCompliance has been super helpful to us in keeping our organization compliant. I've really come to appreciate how user-friendly the platform is when training others how to use it. Everywhere from uploading tax notices to setting up new accounts and validating garnishments with our payroll system has been an almost seamless process. I also like that everything is accessible within SmartCompliance. If I have a question, there are help links available, along with chat and service request options. My favorite aspect of ADP SmartCompliance is how time-saving it is. This is important because it allows our small payroll team to focus on other specialized tasks. I dislike that some tax notices are not thoroughly investigated or reviewed. Often, comments on these notices go unnoticed, as they show as "not reviewed by ADP." It would be helpful to allow the client to add comments after the initial investigation or review of the tax notice. Our only option is to re-upload the tax notice and hope the comments are noticed the second or third time uploaded. Adding this feature would save time for both the client and the ADP tax analyst as the analyst would already be familiar with the tax notice, rather than having a new person review it. I like being able to review taxes, wages, garnishments and invoices all in 1 place. It is realitivally easy to manage. I like that the home page has tasks that need attention and you don't have to rely on emails. Also that you can see links in multiple areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Time out is way too quick.

There is not a option to direct the tax team to apply an agency tax credit direct to the next quarter filing.

It takes way too long to have the quarter filings to post to the site. Also, the data provided in the returns is not complete. We should see the exact agency return form for all agencies. Vouchers for monthly deposits is not enough. We should have all information provided as if I was the one filing the return Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Smart Compliance website is easy to navigate as each service is contained within a link. Reports can be customized by year, quarter, agency to narrow down criteria and produce reports without unncessary information. Tax agency notices can be uploaded for research with auto fill feature to save time. Invoice and reports are available anytime and are stored indefinitely for old and/or closed periods. Drag and drop wage file upload is great - wish tax and garnishments worked the same. The customer service teams and reps who work at ADP for the smart compliance site are knowledgable and usually able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. I use the site several times a week and every update seems to always bring better features to aid in processing payroll, paying taxes, and taking care of garnishment payments. I wish Smart Compliance would sync/work/ was compatible with Total Source so my company could utilize the full power of ADP in all aspects of HR and payroll.

It would be nice if the garnishment file transfer and the tax file transfer were easy as "drag and drop".

I would like to see the ability to search and/or download individual employee paystubs one at a time or selecting several at once. Right now I can only download the entire company. When an employee needs multiple copies, I have to extract each one from a separate weekly file. (Similar to the way one can download pdfs on the ADP app) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about SmartCompliance is that it provides access to a number of features and it is pretty easy to use and navigate. It is easy to update your SUI rates, access filing records, seek assistance via the help tool and so much more Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the things I idslike is not always being able to access historical tax authority history or the ability to deactivate a tax jusrisdiction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been a customer of ADP for more than 20 years. In that time, I've watched the tax services product grow and expand to be the leader in the tax services arena. What I like most about ADP SmartCompliance is having our tax records at our fingertips, the ease of the integration between Workday and ADP and the assistance I get resolving tax notices. There are not a lot of things I can honestly say I dislike about ADP SmartCompliance, however one thing I'm not a real fan of is that they've gotten away from "face to face" customer service. What I mean by that is, I used to have quarterly calls with my account manager to review any anomolies and, I used to be able to email my account manager directly, and now I have to open a case online. I really liked having that direct connection, but I understand that times have changed! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a new user and have been with ADP for one year now. We use SmartCompliance quite a bit for managing our invoices and our tax payments. We also love the wage garnishment feature. That has been extremely useful to our business as we get a lot of garnishments during our busy season. The tax management seems to work well also; we haven't had any issues there, and for the most part things are easy to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We don't use the reporting as much as we might, and would have loved a little more training on what options are available there. And initially the Medical Documents feature didn't work right and we had to work on that, but otherwise it has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
