Alexi has a very hard time reconciling changes in law (newer statutes and amendments versus older or repealed statutes) as well as how they relate to older case law ( newer cases or statutes overruling older cases). Very strong guardrails and connections to Canadian legal sources (caselaw, statutes, etc.) which is something general LLMs are missing and most legal AI tooling (e.g., Harvey) because they are built for larger markets (US, UK, etc.) User interface is very simple/easy to understand; essentially requires no training to start using effectively. Implementation/integration is immediate since it's a web app. Customer support is extremely responsive and willing to customize solutions. I use it daily.

As with all AI tools, there are occasional 'hallucinations.' This is not the type of hallucination you often read about, where non-existent cases are manufactured, but citing a case for a proposition that the case does not exactly stand for.
