We wanted to be able to have a time collection system which integrated with our CRM, which is where we have all of our opportunities for future projects. We also wanted it to be able to integrate with QBO. Lastly, we wanted to be able to project our revenue based on what opportunities were in our CRM (Salesforce). "Projector does exactly what we needed it to do"

What do you like best about BigTime Projector?

We have been a Projector user for over 10 years. We did a thorough evaluation of all the PSA applications available at the time and selected Projector as the hands down winner of our evaluation. Since that time we have been amazed at the ease of use and the seemingly endless list of features that can be utilized. Our installation is relatively straightforward and we did not want to be burdened by a lot of unneeded features or overhead that we could not turn off. Projector enables you to use just what you need and is feature rich enough to add more as you want them. From Time Reporting to Project Tracking to Revenue Reporting, Projector does it all. Our employees are able to enter time through the web and I am able to do all of my management reporting from the management portal. Report writing is simple and straight forward. What do you dislike about BigTime Projector?

I can't think of anything that I really don't like about Projector Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering BigTime Projector:

Provide a case study of a typical project from contracting to time reporting through final invoicing and ask each company that you are considering to demo their system with your data. It will make it much easier for you to see and understand what they show you and I bet Projector does the best job of that. They did for us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BigTime Projector solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a design consultancy, all of our revenue is from employees time. Through the use of projector we have increased utilization and realization. I am able to track time as reported and can provide a revenue projection that is always up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BigTime Projector?

We use Projector for everything from time and expense entry to resource planning and invoicing. We are able to track project budgets and related stats for the project and our employees, It also allows us to transfer data quickly between our accounting system and Projector. The report writer is simple to use, and it creates powerful reports that really allow us to dig into the details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime Projector?

My biggest dislike is the online help. As much as the support team is great, the online help just isn't clear to me. I have never been able to find an answer to a problem without having to reach out to the team. Lucky for me, they are responsive and always helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BigTime Projector solving and how is that benefiting you?

Projector has transformed the way we track our project data. We've drastically reduced the number of spreadsheets that we used to use to create and update every month. It's helped us to close our revenue cycle each month much more quickly than before. It's also helped our employees track their time and their PTO - cutting down on ad hoc requests. "Forced us to be a better consulting firm"

What do you like best about BigTime Projector?

We've grown from a couple of people to a 40 person consulting firm. As we've grown Projector help (sometimes forced) us mature our processes for the better. That said, when needed we've been able to tweak the system to get it to do what we want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime Projector?

Functionality is split between a fat client and the web. They are working on transitioning but it's taking a while. I appreciate, however, how transparent they are on this process. On the surface it seems clunky to have two interfaces, but at the end of the day it's not actually a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering BigTime Projector:

Projector is a relatively inexpensive PSA compared to Financial Force and MavenLink, but gets the job done really well. They really have thought about 99% of the scenarios you will run into. What problems is BigTime Projector solving and how is that benefiting you?

They ability to collect time and expense cards, approve them, invoice for them, and transfer the data to Quickbooks with classes is great. No lost billable hours or invoices.

What do you like best about BigTime Projector?

You can coordinate, assign, schedule, budget and plan your projects by having visibility of your resources availability, and the progress of your tasks. You can plan your tasks, invoice your project hours and managing the progress of your projects, all integrated and easy to use. Great tool for Consulting Companies.

What do you like best about BigTime Projector?

Projector helps us more easily manage our projects, updates, T&M, and invoices. I can't imagine not having Projector. The customer service team is amazing -- assistance is always provided immediately and personally. The data is easy to export and analyze and we frequently used customized reports. Thank you! In some areas, the Customer ID is linked to Customer Name in the same cell; Date written as DD-Month-YYYY; sometimes the revenue is listed as 1234 USD instead of $1,234.00. These are easy to change, but a nuisance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
