Easy way how to backup & restore & make website transfer to another domain. Automatic url search and replace. Backup to different storages. Really good for making staging sites or local copies for debugging purposes. Making web site transfer from dev server to live domain is super easy and downtime is minimal like 5 minutes or so. It has different options how to make package like SQL script with mysqldumb or php code, archive compression, different archive engines so I never had problem to make backup or restore on any hosting. Maybe brand templates might be more personal to hide info about duplicator plugin. I found one problem with google storage, when for some reason google storage stop working then plugin ignores default storage maximum storage packages. For example I have default storage for 2 packages and sync with google storage. When google storage stop working, plugin ignores 2 packages for default storage and it is storing packages until I fix the google storage problem. After using the free version for a couple of year,s I upgraded to Pro when I needed to clone a multisite. The plugin works really smooth and the support is very helpful and fast. Once you know how to use it, it is great. But the first couple times, it requires step by step instructions. However, if you follow them, all should go well. Recently, with larger websites Duplicator has been timing out and crashing making me ask the developer to manually move the site over which takes quite a bit longer that it does to use Duplicator.
