What do you like best about Forsta?

Whilst the product is excellent, I think the part of Forsta that sticks out for me is the support. From onboarding teams, account managers and their support desk. Any question or request gets answered super quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forsta?

It's really difficult to think of a negative and I don't think I can. At a push I would most likely say that the cost of the reporting licenses does mean I can't provide dashboards to everyone I would like to within the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Forsta?

My experience is with Forsta VIsualizations, which is easily the best visualization tool for Market Research.

It is integrated with databases such as SPSS, and the options for variable handling and graphic design are in line with the needs of a Market Research company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Forsta?

The biggest plus for Decipher are the dynamic questions skins. There's a lot of them and they are all mobile optimized. Overall the entire layout is mobile optimized. Basic users can create a custom user experience with no advanced scripting needs.

Secondly I really enjoyed the XML interface. It allows for fast change of question types via search replace.

Being able to edit XML also allows for offline work which can be faster at times than working in browser.

Thirdly I was very pleased with their support team. Both the support department as well as their customer satisfaction managers were very quick to give solutions to all of my requests.

As a side note the regular contract allows for an unlimited number of logged in users. Which is a big advantage considering that this allows you to provide your clients with day to day access to the integrated testing and reporting solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Forsta?

Not really a fan of the python code. Having to create optimal scripting doesn't come easy. I've dabbled in it and found that complex code could be simplified by using integrated function which are not straight forward to learn even though the Knowledge base is pretty extensive. Trial and error really was the way to go, as well as consulting with their support team.

The debugging process is not really straight forward as XML errors get mixed with python errors and JavaScript errors in the same compiler and it takes time to sort out where the actual issue is. Also switching from one editor to the other might reveal errors that you weren't aware of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Doesn't allow user to create user defined variables in bulk

Column or row variables cannot be used as Filter variables

Doesn't allow batch charting - same type of charts

Crosstab module allows only 50000 cells

RIM weighting cannot be done on the tool

Appending the open ended coded data to the survey connected via api

For the uploaded dataset, the MRV delimiter cannot be used for other variables. A lot of preprocessing needed to be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
