Cross-product support- Without any additional WLAN controller, via FortiGate we can easily configure& monitor Forti Access points& clients and also manage Forti switch.

Customer support- Directly connecting support by using global call support will take more time to reach technical team and most of the time they ask to wait for call back. In most of the cases, after some days they will reply over the case, by asking to clarify some details and finally verified all the shared details& logs then only they will connect via remote support.

The thing I like the most it's the Security Fabric Integration the thing about FG it's that it isn't just a firewall , it is part of Fortinet’s Security Fabric, which means it works seamlessly with other Fortinet devices like FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiAP, FortiSwitch and many more and it allows centralized management and automation. The thing that I dislike the most It's the Firmware Stability , in terms that , versions may contain some bugs that would make you to rollback to a previous version and Couse mayor setback on the task, new firmware releases sometimes introduce unexpected bugs, especially in major updates (like 7.2 or 7.4).

The Technical support service is very poor. Most of the time it has been observed that when it is needed for technical support the support engineer generally provide FortiGate Document for solution, Not provide remote support as like other venders like Sophos or Cisco. Fortigate Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) has the capacity to protect the systems from different types of attacks like DOS, DDOS, brute force attacks, ransomwares, man in the middle attacks, session hijacking and more. Its intrusion detection and prevention system is very good and robust. It provides a great management console to the network administrators for monitoring security performance and fine tuning the required configurations. Its packet filtering, Anti spam and IPsec features are very good and useful. We have been using it since many years and has got a great support from OEM whenever required. The Fortigate NGFW is a great product and there are no dislikes as such. The logging and alert mechanism is also very good. It is a reliable and stable product and does not affect network performance. However it is sometimes hard to configure in an existing network. Its intrusion prevention system is very good and robust. Fortinet has such an easy UI to navigate; it makes networking much easier for my environment.

Setting up remote sites to connect to the main site has never been easier, our entire infrastructure is Fortinet so we configure, monitor and use it every single day.

Support is quick and very knowledgeable and helps us with networking issues.

There are a ton of features that we use and some that we are very interested in getting (AI integration).

It is very simple and easy to add multiple new Fortinet devices to the environment.
