"Clients love it!"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

We use Frame.io as a review tool for our clients. It has been well received by everyone. The ability for them to leave comments at the exact time in the video has been a game changer and made it easier for our editors to produce changes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

Right now, it's hard to say what I dislike about it. We have some network infrastructure that doesn't allow us to use the full capabilities of the app but we are working internally to resolve that. What we need is to be able to make a solid use case with our information security team about storing assets on the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Collaboration Tools, But Tagging Limitations for Non-Seated Users"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

I like the collaborating and review features. We often use Frame.io to upload video and animation media to get pinpointed review from stakeholders. We are able to get clarity on comments made to a specific timestamp, and reviewers are able to communicate clearly on by using annotation features to draw on our video as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

We have stakeholders who don't have a seated license, so sometimes they'll have feedback for other non-seated users giving feedback and it doesn't tag them. So as a seated user, I'll have to contact them separately, telling them, "Hey this other person has a question directed at you." It would be so much easier if those reviewers could comment @ those other reviewers with the share link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Video Reviews, Industry Standard Tool"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

I truly appreciate Frame.io's user-friendly interface, which made the setup process incredibly easy, the easiest I've experienced with any software. The capability to review video content quickly and directly annotate frames needing fixes is a genius feature that streamlines my workflow. The comment section, which allows me to specify edits directly on the timeline, and the version stacking feature, are particularly useful to me. I also enjoy the real-time editing and collaboration functionalities, which have significantly enhanced teamwork on projects. Additionally, Frame.io being recognized as an industry standard adds to its appeal, reinforcing my decision to keep using it. The pairing of Frame.io with Adobe Premiere Pro has been seamless and beneficial. Overall, Frame.io’s combination of ease of use and powerful features makes it an indispensable tool for my video production needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

I would add a storage feature for video content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Feedback That Enhances Collaboration"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

I appreciate Frame.io's ability to provide real-time feedback, which significantly enhances my project workflow by allowing timely comments and inputs. The ease of setup is another feature that I find truly beneficial. Simply clicking on a link to leave a comment and entering my email address makes the process straightforward and user-friendly. This simple setup saves time and integrates seamlessly into my daily tasks. Furthermore, the platform's flexibility in allowing comments and feedback without requiring all contributors to be present simultaneously is incredibly convenient. It enables collaboration at each individual's convenience, enhancing overall productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

I'm not sure if Frame.io allows leaving photo comments for visual references. Being able to add photo comments would be more useful to me than just typing comments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adrian Taylor's Frame.io review"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

Frame.io has been really great at organizing all of my video edits / rough drafts. I like how easy it is for either myself or stakeholders reviewing my videos to leave notes in the timeline, as well as use arrow graphics to point out a specific edit that needs to be tweaked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

I think storage tiers could be better. I also preferred the older design of frame.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Editing and Reviewing Made EASIER"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

I love the timeline. Being able to navigate projects in real time has been a game changer. It also allows clients and managers the ability to see the full project and make multiple edits. It has gives the ability to see who requested changes so no more going back and forth with edits for creatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

Not being able to download in compressed files. There is also a cost for x users and it can get costly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good use"
What do you like best about Frame.io?

It feels like active and easy workspace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

Some of the features from v3 are missing from v4 at the moment. I really liked the window displays on v3 in premiere which is why I hesitated in upgrading for so long Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing product for video, wishing there's more for photos."
What do you like best about Frame.io?

Really helpful in a remote age where I can collaborate with people that aren't nearby. It's also something that is helpful for asset management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Frame.io?

I wish there were a few more robust options when it comes to organization, and some way for client gallery viewings, speaking from a photography end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
