"Perfect app for working with Salesforce Data in Excel"

What do you like best about G-Connector?

I love that I can do an easy export and upload straight into Salesforce without having to use Salesforce's data loader. I can set automated scheduled with Office 365.

Very easy to build a SOQL within the app to export. The admin features in the desktop version are so handy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Intuitive and Robust (enough)"

What do you like best about G-Connector?

Right out of the “box” I immediately connected to my org, pulled data using this software’s SOQL GUI which is simple and clear even for non SQL folks and walks through choosing an object, fields, filters etc. I needed to dedupe some records and using excel 365 remove duplicates combined with this software’s delete (and undelete) function, I quickly removed the records and stored them for safe keeping. I selected two records by mistake and the undelete feature worked beautifully. I can’t wait to try more features and will definitely buy this software. I agree with previous review I read elsewhere before downloading a full featured evaluation copy — I don’t know how I got along without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about G-Connector?

I can’t say I dislike anything yet, but I wonder how well this performs with non-standard Salesforce add-ins like EDA or NPSP. NPSP has made working with our forms vendor a bit hairy at times due to the (understandably) lack of documentation or FAQ contingency covering these plug-in products that remodels the standard architecture. Recommendations to others considering G-Connector:

Seriously, try it. Unless you have a really complex use case, this software is a must have. Beats the pants off Workbench and DataLoader! Sorry but it’s so much easier this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is G-Connector solving and how is that benefiting you?

Benefits are ease of use and low ramp-up learning curve. Everything is in plain language and positioned well so I’m not flipping through different screens just to complete a task.

Problems we have are with data holes and large amounts of data input that are better done on a spreadsheet rather than boring staff to tears inputting repetitive fields for thousands of records. So right now they’re skipping the repetitive columns in the database. But then it’s impossible to get any good reports. Summarizing fields that only have 5% fill rate is frustrating. Xappex quickly and easily pulls the data, fills the holes, and pushes back to SFDC for gold star reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to operate and a great time saver."

What do you like best about G-Connector?

I love this application, updates everything automatically grabs information from some part or object automatically without me having to do something then that information returns it to where it should be but I already have it in my spreadsheet, and as well as many other things example, Contact, opportunity and different activities, I can update everything directly from my Google Sheets so I do not have to download anything else from another part this application really saves a lot of time. Tool that allows an easy handling without worries you can adapt to use this application without any difficulty, has no problem seen by my person in the time I have been handling this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A time saver that is worth having no doubt is not a waste of time downloading and analyzing this application so you can organize yourself better and have a very good handling in other work tasks, highly recommended application to be able to update data without problem people or objects. Thanks to this application all the management of data and information in the company could be managed and classified much better than before, with great speed and simplicity we can file and have everything in order in less time than we did before, the application works excellent and in short time you can do multiple things thanks to this application that will give more time to look at other work tasks. "THE BEST TIME SAVER."

What do you like best about G-Connector?

It saves time since it carries out auto updates of data where the software pulls data from one object pivots it in Google sheets, then pushes it back to a related object.

It makes it so easy to run and manipulate Salesforce reports.

"Saves Me Hours A Day"

What do you like best about G-Connector?

Able to download reports from Salesforce and edit them right in Excel and reupload back into Salesforce with all of the changes on one screen. Easy functionality and easy to view the changes I am making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Handy tool for syncing Google Sheets and SF"

What do you like best about G-Connector?

I find it easier to work with some SF data after syncing it to Google Sheets. Really handy for weekly meetings as you can set up a doc with all your reports from SF and the graphs you need for slides and sync everything manually or on a specified recurring basis. Being able to easily move everything over to Google Sheets and keep it updated, means you can do a lot more with the data and customize graphs more than you can in SF. What do you dislike about G-Connector?

There isn't much I've run into that has been a problem. It is easy to use. One thing that comes to mind is when I copy over a doc, it is hard to tell if the reports are still being synced using the schedule from the previous doc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is G-Connector solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to do more robust reporting on our sales data. It allows us to easily keep track of sales pipelines, overall sales performance, and individual reps. The ability to customize things more than in SF and keep multiple reports together in one Google doc has been very handy. What do you like best about G-Connector?

Sometimes it i is slow when completing something in salesforce or through the g suite. Also I noticed some time stamps can be off but that maybe an IT issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
