"Effortless SOC 2 Compliance with Intruder"
What do you like best about Intruder?

I really appreciate Intruder for its ease of implementation and straightforward setup process, which made it hassle-free to begin using the software without encountering any unexpected challenges or surprises. I find its proactive penetration testing capabilities incredibly useful for ensuring SOC 2 compliance, as it provides the necessary intrusion detection system features to effectively test our internal product. Additionally, the low cost of Intruder makes it a cost-effective choice for our organization, allowing us to achieve compliance without financial strain. The combination of its affordable pricing, ease of use, and effective security solutions makes Intruder a valuable asset, leading me to rate it a perfect ten and highly recommend it to others. "Flexible and easy to use scanning solution"
What do you like best about Intruder?

My company was looking for a good service to enhance our managed platform offer to clients. While we were using some automated scanning before, Intruder is vastly more comprehensive and provides much wider scope for our needs.

When considering the solution I spoke with Dan in the Intruder team who did a great job of understanding our context and needs, and showing us how Intruder may suit us. This was followed by the 14 day trial where we ran a few tests before deciding to take on a paid plan.

The Intruder system is comprehensive but easy to use, and integrating it into each of our projects for testing was simple. There is a lot of documentation to help, and the web chat feature has also been good to talk through any specific queries with the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

It is quite early days for us and so far everything has been great. One thing I could possibly comment on is that the scan times (at least on our projects) did take a bit longer than I originally expected. We did a simple external scan on one platform and it took nearly 16 hours to complete. That said, the time does also show how comprehensively it is testing, and now we know what to expect we can build it that sort of time into our schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Intruder - I lick he boom boom down" Great Product, even greater people, Recommended!"
What do you like best about Intruder?

Dealing with Intruder as a company, product aside (which is thorough). The people involved behind the scenes are the ones that truly sell this product. (It sells itself) I have nothing but gratitude and favourable things to utter about each and every individual I deal with from Intruder. They know who they are.

Deployment is easy, support is excellent and I just like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

Being the positive, affable individual I am. There is nothing I dislike about the product. I am embracing the ever evolving Threat Intelligence elements breathing life into the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My company switched to Intruder its easy to use and very good UX, finds what we needed"
What do you like best about Intruder?

Intruder delivers a great balance between strong vulnerability scanning capabilities and a clean, intuitive user experience. The setup was especially smooth thanks to the helpful onboarding flow and in-app guidance.

One standout feature is how authentication is handled—when configuring an authenticated scan, Intruder captures a screenshot after the login attempt. This made it incredibly easy to confirm that the scanner had proper access to the application, which saved time and eliminated the usual trial-and-error.

The vulnerability findings are clearly prioritised, with remediation steps that are actionable and easy to follow. I also want to highlight the excellent support—both the automated agent and live support were knowledgeable and responsive, helping us resolve questions quickly.

We setup weekly scans and it is possible to configure emails to be sent along with integrations to have a process of acting on the scan results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

The only real friction point was understanding the licence model. Intruder separates licences into Infrastructure and Application, which wasn’t immediately intuitive when getting started. It took a bit of time and support to fully understand how each licence type applies to different scan targets and that these scan for a different set of vulnerabilities.

Additionally, while the default reporting and scan options are solid, some advanced users may wish for more fine-grained control and export flexibility when generating custom reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intruder?

I’ve been testing out Intruder.io for the past couple of weeks, mainly to get a feel for how well it fits into a cloud-heavy environment. So far, I’ve integrated it with Azure and ran tests using their agent, and I have to say—I'm mostly impressed.

First impressions:

The UI is clean and intuitive. I didn’t need to dig through documentation to figure out where things were. Connecting it to our Azure environment was smooth—probably one of the easiest integrations I’ve done in a while. Once the scans kicked off, results started coming in quickly, and the platform did a solid job of flagging vulnerabilities with enough context to take action.

Agent test:

I also tested the internal scanning using their agent. Setup was simple, and the scan ran without a hitch. It’s lightweight and didn’t bog down the VM, which is something I always look out for.

Final thoughts:

For someone looking to get up and running fast with a reliable vulnerability management tool—especially in the cloud—I think Intruder.io delivers. It's not the deepest tool for hardcore pentesters, but for ongoing visibility and clean reporting, it’s exactly the kind of lightweight, effective solution I’d recommend for SMBs or hybrid cloud setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

Advanced users might miss some of the granular control you’d get in something like Nessus or OpenVAS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Small teams greatest helper"
What do you like best about Intruder?

Intruder stands out for its ease of use, its clean, intuitive interface means I can start a scan or review results without wasting time navigating complex menus. Getting set up was quick and straightforward, with minimal configuration required to get it running effectively. Despite its simplicity, it offers a rich set of features, from comprehensive vulnerability scanning to easy rescan options, which makes it a perfect fit for frequent use. The platform integrates smoothly with our workflow, so running scans, reviewing results, and taking action feels seamless rather than disruptive to daily operations. Additionally, the Customer Support has been some of the best, they respond within the hour of your request and can schedule meetings for discussion the next day if needed. Also the CSMs automatically schedule meetings to check up and update you about new tools they released. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

The only drawback I’ve noticed is that scan times can occasionally be longer than expected, especially during peak usage periods. It’s not a dealbreaker, but quicker turnaround would make the process even smoother when dealing with time-sensitive issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to set up, easy to integrate, great customer service."
What do you like best about Intruder?

The interface is super simple. From experience with vulnerability scanners the config can sometimes be made to feel more complex than it needs to be. However Intruder is painless. I've also raised a few questions with the customer support team and the comms are always, fast, to the point. Other SaaS security providers could take note. It's also significantly cheaper than alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

If you are dealing with an incredibly large number of different resource types the interface and filters may be somewhat restrictive but for most SME and enterprise it's perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intruder?

Super easy to configure to include all cloud resources in both AWS and Azure to ensure vulnerability issues are identified and considered in a timely manner. Added benefit of application scanning through addition of credentials for application login to perform a level of penetration testing too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Robust and User-Friendly Vulnerability Management Solution"
What do you like best about Intruder?

I appreciate Intruder.io's user-friendly interface, which simplifies navigation and operation, making it accessible even for those with limited technical expertise. Additionally, its extensive vulnerability scanning capabilities provide comprehensive coverage, ensuring that potential security issues are thoroughly identified and addressed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intruder?

While Intruder.io offers a user-friendly interface and extensive coverage, generating reports for specific resources isn't intuitive. Additionally, updating targets requires deletion and re-adding, likely due to licensing constraints, necessitating reliance on external DNS configuration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
