"An excellent accounting software with minimal report customisation"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

It offers bookkeeping and makes the process easier by including invoice preparation and BRS inventory management, all within an easy-to-use interface. Even someone new to the system can adapt quickly. Its cloud-based functionality has been especially helpful, allowing me to work comfortably from either my home laptop or the office. So Usage is regular mostly use it daily evn in holiday time urgent work.Collaboration with our vendors is also straightforward; when a vendor creates an invoice for us, we can simply accept it and use it right away. Additionally, the pricing adjusts according to our business needs, which has also been beneficial for my friend who does freelancing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

The first thing I dislike is the customer support. It often doesn't meet our requirements, and when we need to implement something, their response is sometimes too slow. This delay can be quite frustrating, and at times, the support is unresponsive, which has left us feeling exhausted. Additionally, we are unable to generate reports according to our own analytics needs. While there are some reports available, they are limited, and creating custom reports is confusing and not straightforward for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable for Nonprofit Accounting with Some Setup Challenges"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

I love the import feature in Intuit QuickBooks, which allows me to import Excel spreadsheets after formatting them appropriately. This feature is incredibly useful for my work, especially when managing multiple transactions like salaries and expenses, as it facilitates batch import and simplifies large data management. Additionally, QuickBooks is tremendously helpful in nonprofit accounting because it makes it easy to import journal entries from Excel spreadsheets. This helps keep track of balance sheets and statements of activity efficiently. I find QuickBooks incredibly easy to use and navigate, especially after learning its functionalities. It simplifies finding reports and overall financial management, which is essential for my role working with 20 different nonprofits. The ease of keeping up with finances and generating reports by customer or class further underscores its usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

I am not a big fan of the new updates that QuickBooks has made. The software seems to have slowed down considerably because of these changes. Transitioning from report to report takes more time than it used to, which is frustrating. Additionally, the new interface makes it more difficult to find everything I am looking for, as it requires more searching than before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of use"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

We use QuickBooks daily to generate invoices for our metal building clients and track progress billing. It’s very easy to use, even for team members who aren’t tech-savvy. Setup and integration with our other tools were simple, and it works smoothly with our workflow. Our entire finance team can access everything they need in one place. One of our favorite features is the ability to send clients a payment link—they can just click and pay online, which speeds things up. QuickBooks keeps our invoicing process smooth and organized. Customer support has been helpful when we needed it. Overall, it’s a reliable tool with great features, easy integration, and strong support—perfect for any business managing regular billing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

So far, I haven't run into any issues with QuickBooks. It works really well for our needs, and I haven’t found anything I’d consider a downside. Everything from invoicing to tracking payments has been smooth and reliable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbooks is pricey but works well"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

I really appreciate most of the features that Quickbooks offers. I used Quickbooks Desktop for three years, but when things switched over to Quickbooks Online, I found that I could no longer manage the accounting for my three companies within the online version. Now, I have to juggle both the online version and my old Quickbooks Desktop software. The yearly cost difference is significant—$970 per year for the online version compared to being able to purchase the software outright and upgrade only when necessary. Switching back to the desktop version would now cost $1,700 annually, which is simply too expensive for me. While I still love the software and what it can do, Quickbooks has unfortunately become too costly for my business, and I am now searching for a more affordable solution that can handle the needs of my three companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

The price has become too high for me, so I am now searching for a more affordable option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Finances Made Easy, But Recent Update Is Horrible"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

I really like to have access to all payments made to the company and all expenses in the same place. The ability to keep an eye on all the bank accounts and credit cards in the same place is my favorite feature. Being able to look up things by vendor is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

I do not like the new update made about 3 months ago. The way it functioned before is way better. Having to put tags on everything is a major pain so I switched it to the previous version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

It's a good way to balance your finances and has tools designed to make the balancing easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very clean software that makes it easy to navigate and use."
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

I like how the software doesn't have everything scattered and all over the place, its very intuitive and makes things a whole lot faster for doing payroll and checks. I frequently use this app to see my paystubs, manage my tax information and other important things relating to my compensation. I love how it's very integrable with the other Intuit apps making it amazing for all the software Intuit offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

I think one dislike would be the two factor authentication that I have to do almost every single time, it may be a hassle, but its also there for safety reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"affordable and simple to learn"
What do you like best about Intuit QuickBooks?

We relied on this online application to manage the accounting records for our small business, paying less than $100 each month to keep the service active. The platform was straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to handle our bookkeeping needs. In my experience, it truly distinguishes itself from other similar products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Intuit QuickBooks?

I experienced several disappointing Customer Support calls that could easily drive a customer to cancel their account. These interactions were so frustrating that they would ruin my entire day. Additionally, I encountered a problem where I was double billed for services I wasn't even using, and it took weeks to finally resolve the issue. Ultimately, after we finished building and implementing our application, we decided to switch to Zoho. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
