Kontent.ai is a game-changer for modern content teams

Lack of Certain Out-of-the-Box Tools, As a pure headless CMS, it deliberately doesn't include certain features that monolithic CMSs do, such as a complete, integrated personalisation engine or a full digital asset management (DAM) system, meaning you have to bring or build those components yourself. Up to this point, my experience with the platform has been highly positive, with no major drawbacks or issues encountered. Everything has performed exactly as expected. The only area for potential enhancement would be the addition of real-time error tracking this would help identify and monitor cases where content fails to load on the platform, ensuring quicker resolution and improved reliability. Kontent does their thing pretty good. The only consern that i have is that they are maybe focussing a bit too much on AI and forgetting some other parts that are also important for us like working with an item with multiple languages or API responses that can be improved. "Complexity and simplicity - headless done right"
What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

As a full stack developer a tend to give more value to how much effort is needed to integrate into additional platforms. Easily configured webhooks, well documented and easy to use feature rich APIs makes Kontent.ai one of the most enjoyable platforms to create integrations for. With minimal effort I've been able to create an automatic translation service, an Algolia indexer and a few other integrations. In all cases the ease of implementation of Kontent.ai's suite of APIs was the least painful aspect. It's truely a joy to develop for. It's GUI is simple yet powerful and I haven't heard any negative remarks about Kontent.ai from the contents I've trained on the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kontent.ai?

I'm not the biggest fan of their payment model and wish some aspects could be increased or decreased based on needs. It's easy to have content model bloat or overly complex models because of variations. I wish there was a way to conditionally show or hide certain content model fields and content models. - Endless component reuse possibility

- Manage multiple projects within different environments

What do you like best about Kontent.ai?

The upsides are that it provides content editors with a vast range of flexibility for building out pages of website content. The ability to add and remove blocks of content across multiple page templates helps the user to create consistent web pages that look great across mobile, tablet and desktop. Furthermore the headlesss nature of Kontent allows us to integrate other third party applications with ease. We also get great support from our agency partner as well as our customer service team at Kontent directly.
