What do you like best about Krisp?

I've been using krisp since October 2024, and I have to admit, I'm hooked. The platform is extremely user-friendly and easy to implement after a quick setup, you can onboard your entire company without hassle. It launches automatically when meetings begin, and you receive your notes and action points immediately afterward. I find it impressively accurate, even when it comes to understanding complex numbers, which is especially helpful for tracking action items. I rely on it for nearly all my meetings (aout 90%) and I can't imagine switching to anything else. Another feature I appreciate is its discretion; krisp doesn't notify other participants of its presence, so I can choose when to mention it myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krisp?

I believe there are several areas where improvements could be made. First, I have to manually identify the speakers, as the system doesn't recognize them automatically. This often leads to me spending a few minutes figuring out who said what and then assigning the correct speakers. Second, while I can block certain applications, I can't block specific websites. For instance, in Chrome, I want Krisp to record my Google Meet meetings, but I don't want it to capture my ChatGPT voice notes (ofc!). However, I have to manually disable it each time I start, which is inconvenient. Another thing is that live meetings don't function reliably. I've tried using this feature multiple times on my phone, but it hasn't worked well.

What do you like best about Krisp?

Sound cancellation from other participants audio. Krisp has helped me in most meetings thanks to how it improves clarity in conversations. Whenever there is a tv, dog, child in the background it makes the conversation difficult to understand for me. Also, by having a final summary of the conversation I can check if I missed any to-dos or if I wasn't able to understand any of the participants due to my hearing issues.

Now it has become available in a multitude of platform (Slack, Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Signal and Whatsapp calls) and I'm thrilled to continue using it since I really depend on the improved audio in the calls.

I've been using it for a year now and I enjoy how easy it has become to use. It is already configured and implemented in the different applications I use daily and it will autogenerate a transcription for me once the call or meeting has finished. The fact that it is already integrated with Zoom makes it even simpler to use.

Customer support did answer quickly and concisely when I needed them.

Sometimes it has configuration conflicts when used with a bluetooth headset like Bose 700. When the microphone from the headset it activated it decreases the audio quality of the output sound. I love using Krisp to transcribe my meetings and take virtual notes for me. It's so helpful as an ADHD person to have written follow-ups generated for me without me having to put too much effort into writing them down AND keeping track of the conversation in the moment. The noise cancellation is a huge plus, because my spouse is often having meetings or conversation in the other room, and the noise carries. This way, there's no confusion in my transcription or for my clients on the call. I use it daily, every work day, and it's never done me wrong. It was super easy to set up, and I didn't have to keep giving it permission over and over. What do you like best about Krisp?

What impresses me most about Krisp.AI is how well it strikes a balance between power and simplicity.

Krisp is very intuitive. Whether it’s turning on noise cancellation, using transcription, or getting summaries, the user interface is clean and logical. I don’t need to spend ages figuring out menus or settings; everything is where I’d expect it to be.

Onboarding is smooth. Installing Krisp for my MacBook, iPhone, and iPad, as well as integrating it with Zoom, Teams, or other apps, or even installing a browser extension, takes very little time. There’s minimal friction in getting up and running, the tool “just works” pretty much out of the box.

From what I’ve seen, utilising the Customer Support is solid. They offer documentation via an online help centre, and you can reach out directly if required. I must admit I haven't needed to contact them directly.

Because Krisp delivers features that directly solve daily meeting pain points (noise, recording, summaries, etc.), I use it almost every time I’m in a call or doing remote meetings. It becomes part of the workflow naturally rather than being something I open only occasionally. When I join an online meeting, it automatically starts the recording, and when I finish, it provides a transcript, along with a summary and key points.

Krisp packs in a lot: transcription, meeting summary, action items, accent conversion, noise cancellation, integrations with CRMs, syncing action items, and even mobile and in‑person meeting support. It’s not bloated, but it provides you with all the necessary tools without requiring you to pay for extras you won’t use.

Krisp integrates with major conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, etc, which I use regularly, and I am sure many others too. Additionally, it syncs with my Microsoft 365 and Google calendars for seamless integration with upcoming events. So when using other tools in my stack, Krisp slots in nicely rather than forcing me to change my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

But I can't be 100% sure whether this is a Krisp issue or not. I need to switch off the Krisp Mic and use my standard microphone instead. I like that Krisp is always available when I need it, the app knows when I join a call and is able to automatically start recording, in my use case this has been across Teams, Slack, Webex VOIP and online calls using Safari.

The meeting notes are clear and succinct and I like that I can go back and listen to the call audio when needed.

If i need more info the AI can further elaborate on the notes and add more context.

On Mac you also get to see upcoming meetings in the toolbar and this has helped me stay on top of what is happening in my day.

Taking notes in my meetings was causing me a lot of issues as you would miss things, now I can use Krisp to check off all of the raised points from a meeting, it definitely makes me more present when talking to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krisp?

The app is great but I have a few things that bother me.

When a call finishes the summary automatically pops up meaning I could have finished the call or I could be in the middle of typing something and it takes the active window away from the app I'm using.

It doesn’t always pick up on who spoke so I need to manually add the user info.

These are minor issues but I would love to see them changed in the future.

Noise cancellation was a little too overzealous so that has been switched off.

Id like to be able to pick the best microphone based on what is connected sometimes it defaults to my Macbook microphone without me realising meaning the audio from the office is being broadcast to everyone without me realising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Krisp?

Krisp shines with its easy-to-use interface and reliable noise cancellation, it’s seamless in muting barking dogs, typing clatter, and background chatter in real time. The AI-powered meeting assistant is helpful automatically recording, transcribing, and summarising my calls (with action items and structured summaries), all without needing bots.

I also love the AI summaries and task lists, which are genuinely helpful.

There’s a strong emphasis on on-device processing and privacy, everything runs locally unless you opt for cloud storage. Plus, Krisp integrates smoothly with Zoom, Teams, Meet, Slack, Tuple and Hangouts, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krisp?

The voice detection/dictionary (custom vocabulary) can be a bit odd, sometimes it groups multiple words under the same association and doesn’t allow correction for both, which frustrated me.

Sometimes I've noticed extreme noise suppression can make voices sound slightly robotic or clipped and if you leave it running for a long time the app can sometimes cause CPU spikes, use up excess RAM or auto-disable unexpectedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Krisp?

I love being able to pay attention to meetings without the distraction of jotting down detailed notes. So far, Krisp has done a pretty good job in getting the correct details of my meetings, and organizing them in a helpful and comprehensive way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Krisp?

I've had a couple of hiccups where I lost an entire meetings' notes due to a glitch. And once those notes are gone, they are gone, meaning I have nothing at all to refer back to. That definitely spooks me a bit. There is a moment after a meeting, where I am waiting for the notes to download, and I am anxious it could all go blank. This has gotten better, but still exists as a worry for the user. Also, sometimes it can be tricky to figure out how to start recording the meeting. The desktop app can be a little vague as to where and how to start recording, and if a recording is currently happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
