What do you like best about Payroll Relief?

What do you dislike about Payroll Relief?

What do you like best about Payroll Relief?

Payroll Relief makes payroll entry easier by sending a link to my clients. They enter their own hours and I look over and review. When it comes time to do quarterly and yearly reports, everything is streamlined and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Relief?

I think Payroll Relief could be improved by making it possible to pay quarterly payments out of this software less than 4 days from the due date. If I miss that timeframe, I have to figure out how to make manual payments which can be difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Payroll Relief?

Payroll reief does it all - from state and federal compliance, to child support and garnsihments. The setup is straightforward and support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Relief?

Downsides are mainly related to getting some changes handled quickly, like daily limits and days between submission and direct deposits. Generally not a problem but has raised an issue or two when last minute client modifications come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That for the most part, it is pretty much a fully automated system

Customer service/no way to inactivate clients without losing access to payroll history.

There should be a way to inactivate clients without losing access in the system. If they are inactive, data should be available for at least 3 years if not longer. IRS is so behind and this will cause major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to navigate and find what's needed. Can configure easily for more complex payrolls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Payroll Relief?

The price keeps going up, and there are very last-minute notifications, many times on 15-day notice with no time to communicate an adjustment to client pricing. There are no new features or additional value to justify the increased pricing. Their competitors are almost the same cost with much more value, better accuracy, and files/pay all government jurisdictions. It doesn't file or pay all taxes (local specifically). Customer service is subpar at times, and more and more errors keep occurring. Lastly, Payroll Relief places everything on the firm's shoulders. If they mess up, the firm has to pay. What do you dislike about Payroll Relief?

Forced pre funding of payroll taxes has been an issue and it isn't fair to those not wanting or required to do it. The program does not file returns with zero liability even though the state still requires it. PRR processes an unemployment tax return for all states that you have a withholding number for even if you are not required to file an unemployment tax return.
