It doesn't have a structural functionality. It is more of a shaping tool (surfacing,shaping, forming) rather than a building tool(assemblies, stacking forms,adding,subtracting,shaping,surfacing,forming). Cannot be used for creating assemblies.It is not readily parametric but you can add grasshopper to your workflow and make it parametric. It is not easy to use . It is a very flexible tool, with an easy interface to undertand and navigate. I use it at my work for initial ideation of new products and have used it since I was in school. I don't like that when I have newer files I cant open them in my previos versions unless I convert them. But other than that the tools is very versatil.
