"ThoughtSpot: Empowering Everyone with Intuitive, AI-Driven Data Analytics"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

ThoughtSpot helps to make data analytics accessible to everyone, not just data scientist or analyst. It has the intuitive searched based interface where user can type natural language queries like they use to do in google. ThoughtSpot is very helpful and a game changer for every organization as it lets anyone, regardless of technical background, explore and visualize data on their own. It also helps in collaboration where teams can share insights easily and the another one its built in AI performs a great job in suggesting trends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A sophisticated data insights solution with powerful AI-driven analytics and dynamic visual reporting"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

I like the fact that ThoughtSpot has evolved impressively throughout our journey with it. Its introduction of GenAI tools like Spotter and Sage have revolutionized our manual searches and build visualizations. For example, I can simply ask plain-language questions about causes that have resulted in changes in data and get insightful answers along with visual explanations. The AI highlights and KPI monitor have been extremely helpful for real-time alerts and for analyzing performance changes saving us a lot of time. Over time, ThoughtSpot has also significantly improved its mobile experience by bringing in real-time updates and campaign tracking while I'm away from desk. Overall, it is way more intelligent and collaborative now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

The learning curve around the AI tools can be a bit steep for users with less technical expertise. This could be worked on by offering more coaching and explanation of how AI reached its conclusions and the processes behind it. Another issue that can be worked on is the customer support responsiveness. Recently when we ran into configuration issues, it took a significantly long time to get a resolution. Having access to experts quickly through a streamlined process would be extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy way to get answers from data"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

I like the way our team gets the data we need without a data expert. ThoughtSpot’s search function makes it easy to just type in a question and get answers right away. No complex querys and no waiting. It saves us so much time.

Another thing I like is how easily it connects to different data sources. We set it up with our existing systems without any problems, and it updates in real time. So we always have the latest data.

The built-in AI is also a big plus. It helps find insights we might not have thought to look for

Their support team is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very chaotic, hard to mantain"
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

The idea seems very good to be able to write natural language and het a query out of it. It does provide some nice dashboarding tools, like tabs with linked filters. It allows row level security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

Things don't actually work properly. Any formula you try to build won't work (it's not even recognized by the tool even when you use the right syntax). We had to create all metrics in dbt to be able to calculate them properly in Thoughtspot. Natural language doesnt work well. Our users found it very non-intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how helpful the support team is. Anytime I run into a issue or have a question, they respond quick and actually give real answers instead of just copy pasting something from docs. They take the time to understand my problem and help fix it.
