TMetric is timekeeping and billing software. It brings clarity around profitability and helps you make better business decisions. Capture time and expenses in real time and make every minute count. TMetric tracks your billable hours through all workflows and stores them for easy billing and payroll. Extra control can be gained with timesheets, screenshot capturing, and monitoring activity levels to see visited sites during a working day. The TMetric Time off calendar displays upcoming, planned, and used time off. You can select any day on the calendar and see which of your coworkers are at work or on leave. With the Work Schedule feature, you can set working hours for all employees in your organization, as well as for an individual staff member. What do you like best about TMetric?

What problems is TMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?

TMetric gives visibility into how the time is allocated between different tasks and projects and allows us to see what activities take much time and how we can optimize the time and resources. Project budget monitoring is helpful so we can avoid overspending and stick to deadlines of tasks. What do you like best about TMetric?

It looks into your activities on a 10 minute basis with specific windows and tabs and etc opened and used. The user interface is quite simple. You have the web version and the app version which work well even if you open both at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TMetric?

If you leave a pc and start using a different pc it may conflict with your time schedule. So people end up having to completely delete and reinstall the program as a workaround. What do you like best about TMetric?

Tmetric has been so helpful with tracking my time and log-ins and log-outs during work hours. It is a very accurate app. It shows the exact time of what I'm doing during work time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TMetric?

This app sometimes won't show the taskbar precisely, even if I'm already logged in. I still have to log in and out of the app to update the task bar. That's the only problem I'm having with this app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Run away. Too many blatant bugs."

What do you like best about TMetric?

it integrates with almost every web-based tool that I use. It's dirt simple to log time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TMetric?

It's full of bugs. windows desktop app crashes. It has trouble working across midnight. It loses time entries and bloats others by hours. It does not respond appropriately to shutting down (logging off) if a timer is left running. Support is slow and denies problems exist ("That cannot happen"). Reports are cumbersome - I had to export then clean them up before submitting to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering TMetric:

It would be ok IF you use only ONE device, always remember to stop your timer, seldom switch tasks, don't need good reports, and never need help with bugs. Otherwise, choose something else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps me better estimate future work time"

What do you like best about TMetric?

TMetric has helped me identify which tasks take a disproportionate amount of time. The reports help me better estimate the time necessary to accomplish future tasks, and have improved my overall efficiency. The interface with Asana and Outlook are great, and the support team is very responsive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TMetric?

The online interface and desktop app sometimes lose connection, and some activities fail to track. Generally, this is not a big deal, but it can be frustrating to go back and correct the times of past events.

In Asana, I can see how much time I spent on each task with the Asana plugin. Sometimes backfilling events do not sync to the Asana plugin and the cumulative time seen in Asana and TMetric reports are not the same. Minor bug that doesn't matter too much, as I rely on the TMetric repots more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
