"A Game-Changer in Hiring Efficiency"
What do you like best about Workable?

Workable has a very user-friendly interface, making it easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to navigate daily. Features like job posting to multiple boards, resume parsing, email templates, and interview scheduling save us significant time in the hiring process and has resulted to a much better employer visibility and therefore increased numbers in job applications. Furthermore, Workable consistently improves its product and values customer feedback, which makes it a reliable long-term solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

There are a few things that need improvement here and there, but thankfully the team is very open to feedback and most of our suggestions have been fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use Platform and Innovative Company"
What do you like best about Workable?

Workable is one of those tools you don’t need a 3-hour training to figure out. It’s clean, intuitive, and works just as well for my recruiters as it does for hiring managers. Getting started was painless without having to drag IT into the project, just plug in and go, which let my HR and recruitment teams hit the ground running. I like that candidates can choose how they want to hear from us whether it’s email, call, or text, and the automation is spot-on. Things like email templates and interview scheduling save us a ton of time. The built-in collaboration on hiring plans is another win. We can make decisions faster without another meeting. From a leadership perspective, the monthly spotlight recaps are a nice touch. They give me a quick gut check with user permission reminders and stats like new candidates, time-to-fill, and interviews completed. It’s the right level of info without me having to dig for it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

I wish we could build our own candidate assessments in the platform. It would keep everything in one place instead of juggling other tools. Reporting could also be more user-friendly with some real-time insights. For example, if a candidate has been sitting in one stage for too long, I’d love an alert to prompt a touch point. Interview assessments need more depth. Not having scoring or qualification feels like a miss, especially for comparing candidates. And in the archived jobs section, the only way to filter is alphabetical. Being able to sort by posted date, department, or location would make finding past roles a lot less painful. "Workable: Streamlining Recruitment with Ease"
What do you like best about Workable?

What I like best about Workable is its user-friendly interface and end-to-end recruitment functionality. The platform makes it incredibly easy to post jobs across multiple boards, track candidates at every stage, and collaborate seamlessly with the hiring team.

I particularly appreciate the customizable pipelines, which allow us to tailor the recruitment process for different roles, ensuring a smooth candidate journey.

Communication with candidates is also effortless thanks to built-in email templates, scheduling tools, and automated reminders.

Instead of manually drafting and sending updates, I can create personalized templates that still feel warm and professional. This ensures candidates receive timely feedback, which not only improves their experience but also reflects positively on our employer brand.

I also appreciate the ability to set up case study or task reminders directly within the platform. This means I can assign a case study to shortlisted candidates and follow-ups if they haven’t submitted it by a certain date. It saves me from chasing candidates manually and keeps the process moving without delays.

Another strength is how these features integrate seamlessly with candidate tracking, so I can instantly see who has been contacted, who has responded, and what stage they’re in Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

While Workable is an excellent recruitment tool overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved to make the experience even better.

At times, the loading speed can be slightly slow when navigating between candidate profiles or large talent pipelines, especially when there’s a high volume of applications. For roles with hundreds of applicants, the system can take a moment to process filters or search queries.

Another area for enhancement is the flexibility of reporting and analytics. While the standard reports are helpful, having more customizable dashboards with deeper metrics would make it easier to tailor data views for different stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Toronto Lands Corporation loves our Workable!"
What do you like best about Workable?

Toronto Lands Corporation has been using Workable as our talent acquisition software for the past four years, and it remains our recruitment platform of choice. When we first implemented Workable, we were looking for a robust, intuitive, and scalable solution to manage our end-to-end hiring process. Four years later, it continues to exceed our expectations.

Workable is easy to learn, implement, and use. Training is provided to new customers, there is a variety of online resources, and whenever we’ve used online chat or email support, they have been very responsive. Set-up—including integration with Outlook and Zoom—was a breeze, as was the creation of our fully customizable careers page.

The platform allows for complete automation of our hiring process, including offer letters, resulting in a more efficient workflow and a consistently positive candidate experience. We also value the variety of interview, job description, and customizable communication templates available, which help standardize and enhance the quality of our recruitment communications.

Workable’s job posting distribution is outstanding. At the touch of a button, we can post to multiple free and premium job boards, while also proactively sourcing candidates through its AI-powered tools. The AI-assisted job description writing and AI candidate sourcing features help us create clear, inclusive postings and surface top talent quickly—saving hours of manual effort.

All correspondence, assessments, and interview notes automatically become part of a candidate’s profile record, ensuring everything is centralized and easy to access. The system also makes it simple to upload resumes received outside of the Workable application, ensuring no candidate is overlooked.

Workable offers multiple reports to monitor efficiency and effectiveness in the hiring process, giving us valuable insights into time-to-hire, source performance, and pipeline progress. And with the Workable mobile app, we can review candidates, communicate, and move the hiring process forward anytime, anywhere.

Other standout features include:

Customizable hiring pipelines to match our workflows.

Centralized candidate communication for consistent engagement.

Integrated scheduling that syncs with our calendars for effortless interview coordination.

Mobile accessibility for on-the-go decisions.

Overall, Workable has been a game changer for our organization. It has streamlined our recruitment process, enhanced the candidate experience, and given our team the tools and data to hire smarter and faster. It was the right choice then—and it’s still the right choice today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

While Workable has been an excellent solution, here are a few enhancements that could make it even better:

Automatic saving of interview notes directly to a candidate’s record to eliminate manual entry.

Improved talent community functionality so candidates can easily join when no jobs are posted—without having to email resumes.

Enhanced scheduling for multi-interviewer setups, allowing for multiple schedules or specific availability blocks.

More AI-driven candidate matching to quickly highlight applicants who best meet job requirements. AI driven Interview notes so interviewers can concentrate on their connection with candidates and not scrambling to note answers to interview questions.

Standardized application screening questions that can be applied across all job postings without having to add them individually each time.

With these refinements, Workable could elevate its already impressive capabilities to an even higher level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workable Review: From Posting to Placement"
What do you like best about Workable?

As an HR professional, I find Workable extremely intuitive and user-friendly. Its centralized ATS platform makes it easy to manage the entire recruitment cycle — from job posting across multiple platforms, to tracking candidates, scheduling interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers in real time. The automated templates, integrated communication, and easy resume parsing save significant time and ensure a smooth candidate experience. One of the standout features is its robust reporting — it generates real-time reports, tracks the recruitment funnel, and provides actionable insights to measure hiring efficiency and identify bottlenecks. Overall, it streamlines our hiring process, keeps everything organized, and enhances collaboration across the recruitment team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

While Workable is an excellent ATS overall, a few areas could be improved. One key improvement area is the ability to clearly differentiate Internal Job Postings (IJP) from external roles — currently, employees can apply for both, whereas the ‘Apply’ button should be customizable to show only for IJPs or be hidden for external postings when accessed internally. Enhancing these features would make Workable even more seamless and powerful for recruiters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best ATS I have ever used"
What do you like best about Workable?

One of the main things I highlight about Workable is that it is very easy to use. The learning curve for everyone is short, so you can jump into the application and adapt very quickly. It is also very complete, so you will have pretty much every tool you need, along with the possibility to customize everything, from jobs to candidates, stages, and what happens in each one. You will really boost your productivity and provide the best possible experience to candidates. Last but not least, it has an open API, so if you take your time you can really make the most of this app and have all your information organized in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

I am missing an integration between Workable and WhatsApp. The reporting dashboard is useful, but customization options for metrics are limited. They could add an option that truly considers opportunity area metrics that are very important in recruitment, and allow you to track them or choose what to track. I think the metrics part still has room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very good talent acquisition tool, but needs work to be 100% usable"
What do you like best about Workable?

Having all the candidates information in one place.

The tag system.

The job posting platform.

Integration of NDAs and collaboration contracts (SOWs).

The possibility to create custom pipelines adapted to each business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

There is no way to order the candidates alphabetically.

No way to separate the profiles that have been reviewed by ones that were not reviewed (there is a hack for this using the tagging system, but other solutions should exist).

Search via tag feature does not work properly - results are unpredictable and inconsistent, especially when there are multiple tags involved, or a modifier like NOT or AND is used.

The general search tool yields inconsistent results (unclear if it enters archived jobs or not). I was able to find candidates for a specific job without being able to see the job itself (not under active jobs, nor among archived jobs).

The tag autocomplete feature is clumsy and does not help, only creates complications and the need to re-write tags.

The AI assistance feature (for talent matching the job) is useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Hiring with Efficiency and Precision Through Workable | Great ATS to work with"
What do you like best about Workable?

1. Friendly, Clean User Interface

Workable’s design is refreshingly intuitive—clean, visually appealing, and easy to navigate. Jobs, candidate pipelines, and team activities are clearly laid out on the dashboard, dramatically shortening the learning curve and allowing everyone—from seasoned recruiters to newcomers—to get up to speed quickly.

2. Simple, Self-Explanatory Workflow

Recruitment workflows feel seamlessly integrated and intuitive. From posting jobs to managing applicants and scheduling interviews, every tool feels thoughtfully placed. Drag-and-drop pipelines, customizable stages, and streamlined task flows help reduce manual effort and cognitive load, letting you focus on hiring—not software navigation.

3. Superb AI Help Center (Workable Assistant)

Workable’s built-in AI assistant sets itself apart. It’s accessible from anywhere in the app and offers practical, on-point guidance—whether you're drafting job descriptions, sourcing candidates, or navigating features. Beyond just help articles, it learns from your usage and can even cite best practices tailored to your role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"How Workable Improved Our Recruitment Workflow"
What do you like best about Workable?

What I like best about Workable is its user-friendly interface and how it simplifies the entire hiring process—from job posting to candidate onboarding. The platform makes it easy to collaborate with hiring teams, track applicant progress, and communicate with candidates all in one place. Features like customizable pipelines, interview scheduling, and integrated evaluation tools save time and keep the process organized. It’s efficient, intuitive, and helps ensure a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

While Workable is a powerful tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting and analytics features, for example, can feel somewhat limited when trying to generate more customized or in-depth insights. Additionally, some users may find the learning curve a bit steep at first, especially when managing multiple roles or integrating with other HR systems. More flexibility in customization and better support for niche use cases would make it even more effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workable keeps our hiring process organized and efficient"
What do you like best about Workable?

What I like best about Workable is how easy it is to use and how it keeps everything organized. It simplifies the entire hiring process, from posting jobs to tracking candidates and scheduling interviews. I also like the customizable pipelines and job templates, which save our recruiters a lot of time and help us stay consistent across different roles. Collaboration between our HR team has been much smoother since we started using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the reporting feature could be a bit more flexible. The built-in reports are helpful, but sometimes I wish there was more room to customize them based on our specific metrics or workflows. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means—we still get great insights—but having a bit more control over how data is displayed would be a nice improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
