Cross-project visibility

Know where work stands, across every board.

Kanera brings assignments, changes, blockers, and completed work together, so managers and teams can coordinate from the same picture.

Used daily by real teamsWe use Kanera every day to manage client projects, internal work, priorities, and progress.

Kanera was built to help teams coordinate work without spending their time coordinating the coordination.

Origin Story

Built because project management had become part of the problem.

We already had boards, tasks, and project processes. As clients and projects multiplied, the clear picture disappeared.

Managers still opened multiple boards, chased updates, and prepared reports by hand. Team members had work scattered across projects and still needed to ask what came next. Feedback requests could be missed, completed work was hard to review across the team, and important context lived in too many places.

We wanted the speed and clarity of boards together with the visibility, reporting, automation, collaboration, and control required for complete project operations. So we built Kanera: one fast, connected workspace for coordinating people, priorities, progress, and context across real delivery work.

  • Fast, because current information keeps delivery moving.
  • Clear across projects, because work should not disappear between boards.
  • Connected, because updates and context should not need reconstruction.
  • Lightweight, because visibility should not require more administration.
The walkthrough

Okay, but what does a day actually look like?

Three screens carry it: what is on you this morning, where the work happens, and proof of what got finished. Nobody writes a status update in between.

  1. Morning

Open one screen, not six boards.

Home brings together your Up next queue, overdue work, today’s deadlines, the coming week, recent boards, and completed work. Your week groups every dated card and checklist item by urgency.

You start the day on the work instead of hunting for it.

  2. During the day

Boards when work flows. Table when it needs structure.

The same cards, a different lens. Switch view from the board header without moving anything. Lists carry their own counts; cards carry labels, due dates, checklist progress, and who owns them.

When the question spans projects, My Cards and Team Cards bring assignments together across every board you can see. Portfolio keeps the wider delivery picture in view.

  3. End of day

    The standup writes itself.

Work Done is a dated history of what moved: cards completed, checklist items checked off, and cards moved between lists. Each entry names the person and board. Read a single day, a week, or up to 60 days back.

Useful for standups, client check-ins, and every other time “what changed?” would otherwise cost four messages and a meeting.

And three things that keep it that way.

Notes, next to the work

Decisions, runbooks, and project context live in team or personal notes. Links work both ways, so the card shows the note explaining it and the note shows the card it is holding up.

Automations for the housekeeping

Set a WHEN and a DO. When a card enters a list, a due date arrives, or a checklist finishes, Kanera applies the label, assigns the owner, sets the date, or marks the work complete.

Or run the whole day from your own AI tool

Kanera ships a secure MCP connector instead of a bundled chatbot, so the AI tool you already use can work on the real boards above by reading state, triaging, and updating cards.

You sign in with OAuth rather than pasting a key, approve exactly what the agent may do, and revoke it from your profile settings whenever you like.
