The opening scene is pointless to non Arabic speaking people like most of us watching this film, as it's not subtitled. It's not your copy either, I watched it on Tubi, and it has no subtitles for that part either.
Once that should've been deleted scene ends, and you realise you are watching the movie you thought you were going to, it kicks off with some guy who owns an escape room place that was once the best, but now trying to find something to make it amp up from its slum.
What does one do to attempt this? Why you go visit Ray Finkels antique store and steal a box that's said to contain the soul of a demon in it, as you do. Naturally, you don't actually promote it, nor do you believe it's actually real, but you steal it and just place it in your escape room for some reason and don't tell anyone about it. Makes sense, right?
From then on, 4 guests arrive to play the escape room. 2 guys, 2 girls, all people with personalities that you don't care if they live or die anyway.
The film starts to pick up, and the Scooby gang start looking for clues, and then someone else appears chained to the wall in the room who has the job of every 5 minutes or so his chain extends a bit and he can snuggle you, you're out... only just by coincidence, there's that demon soul in that unsecured box that someone opens and the soul escapes into sack head boy chained to the wall and whatta ya know, you got an actual demon who plays the game for real, as he kills whoever he can get his boogedy boo-boo hands on.
Once the Scooby gang figuring out screaming for help won't get them out, they realise they have to find the clues to get out.
From there on, you can guess what sort of things will happen.
It's decent up to a certain point, but then just starts running out of steam, and the interest dies off. By the time the films over, you're not invested anymore, and the finale is pretty unsatisfying... then in an attempt at "but wait, there's more!!!" You get mistreated to a couple of eye rolling scenes trying to suggest there will be a sequel that nobody could care less about seeing now.
There's nothing of note to say it's even one of those movies to just check out a certain scene, no memorable preformances or anything qouteworthy, nor any reason to ever see this thing ever again.
It can be watched from beginning to end without a frustrating feel to switch it off. There's nothing wrong with the acting, camera work, lighting, sound, or anything. It's just a movie that would probably benefit from having the intro and outro cut out, which might make it a 5/10, but even so, not worth the effort for a second chance, and not something anything will ever kick themselves for never seeing.
