Superstar - Trau' dich zu träumen

I'd never really had a love for this movie. That being said revisiting it so many years later it's cuter than I remember and a little bit more funny. Molly Shannon plays the awkward and slightly annoying Mary Katherine Gallagher an odd fame obsessed youngster who just wants to be taken seriously. Shes of course constantly bullied and has her eyes on "hot" guy Will Ferrell. The movie plays out predictably and some of the laughs really work. Overall it's a fun flick that just tries a little to hard.
