Comedienne Whitney Cummings created her own show to star as a freelance photographer who lives with her boyfriend Alex (Chris D'Elia). Her best friends are Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn) and Lily (Zoe Lister Jones). His best friend is Mark (Dan O'Brien).

The first season was much more edgy. She was more bratty loudmouth. Obviously it wasn't that popular. It was uneven. Sometimes it was more angry than funny. She was playing the b.

It was barely renewed for the second season. They completely retooled it. They dropped Neal (Maulik Pancholy) who came out of the closet in the first season. Everybody got slightly nicer, got more heart. Mark bought a bar that the group hang out at. Generally they dropped the edge and became more mainstream. Nevertheless, they still got canceled at the end of season 2.
