This movie had me right from the start - Cancer is not a subject that any of us want to face, however, these individuals faced their journey in a beautiful vulnerable way that engaged me.

The message of hope (maybe not recovery) is a lesson learned on living life fully.

What developed between the two characters is more than a Hollywood Movie it provides us an insight into life and the detours we often must take to get to our spot on the map.

The cancer journey is an emotional and complex process, and this documents that with extreme grace, compassion and empathy.

The message that one cannot run away from life but must run with it has changed the way I proceed each day accepting the good, bad, and sometimes ugly.

You might be surprised by some of the things you learn in this film. It's clear that the filmmakers worked with care and respect for their subject and the folks involved. The film deals with how different people deal with trauma and cope with hard experiences. The conversations the characters feel real-- which might sound obvious, but some dialogue in other films doesn't feel realistic. The conversations are meaningful and thoughtful. These characters feel like people you could meet in your own life. Beautifully shot-- in particular, the scenes on the beach and in the water are pretty amazing.

SHREDDED is a much needed story about grief, healing, and most importantly, connection.

It was so refreshing to see such an honest and real portrayal of an issue that is often not openly or easily discussed. As someone that hasn't seen their reality correctly portrayed through film. Ever. This was just such a gorgeous story to experience, and see being done in a truthful way. The acting is so honest and raw, it can only draw the audience in for more.

I really want to applaud SHREDDED on being so willing to tackle a subject that is often so neglected and passed over. It is only through these heartfelt stories that us, the public, get to learn about the real world we live in.

This film truly moved me and brought me to tears. It's rare to see a film that has such heart and humanity, while not steering away from being honest about the rocky road towards healing, both of body, mind and spirit. The directing, acting performances and writing were grounded and real- and the genuine connection between the leads really made me think about how connected we all are to one another, and that it's through relationship and supporting each other that we can thrive. Also, the film was beautifully shot! It's a heartfelt and moving story that I highly recommend, and one i won't forget.

A very introspective and modern telling of the age-old tale of two strangers connected by pain and trauma who are perhaps divinely brought together to heal each other in a way that only they can.

This story had an ending I didn't fully expect, but was so warmed and comforted by.

The chemistry was lovey, the writing and scene work were so authentic, and I genuinely enjoyed the filmography and the role it played in furthering the plot.

A brave and bold artistic expression of real life events that shaped the reality of the film's creators. Who could ask for a more cathartic piece of cinematic art? Bravo.
