A guitar-driven plea for love

The music video for Damn Yankees' Come Again, from their 1990 debut album, revolves around dealing with a breakup and pleading for a second chance. The song leans toward a power ballad typical of the era but bursts into a dynamic and fast-paced rock piece-somewhere in between the two styles.

The guitar solo is impressive, and the video features a striking cinematographic choice: a shot of the guitarist's fingers moving along the strings through a transparent guitar neck. Like many early 1990s Damn Yankees videos, Come Again is filmed in black and white to enhance its dramatic effect. The song is undeniably catchy, though perhaps not their best.
