- CuriosidadesAlthough the characters would appear in numerous later TV specials and series revivals, considering this special is the final Muppet production that follows the format of El show de los Teleñecos (1976), this special is effectively that show's series finale.

- Créditos adicionalesThere's a writing credit for "Gummo".
- Versiones alternativasThe final scene during the End Credits exists in two different versions. The UK produced version ends with Kermit the Frog opening the theatre doors and various other Muppets walking outside. Janice and Floyd walk out and Floyd asks her if she wants to go for "Fish and Chips" to which she nods. Following them is Gonzo who spots the arrival of a bus. Then, Fozzie comes out and wonders if the 'hot cross bunny' joke was "too hip" for the audience, then Miss. Piggy walks out saying the joke "was too SOMETHING" for the audience. As Kermit locks up, Miss. Piggy asking Kermit if he'll walk her to "The Tube" (subway) to which he obliges, then she says "Race you!" and they run off screen and then we see Dudley Moore and Lily Tomlin struggling to get out of the now locked theatre. In the US version, we see Janice and Floyd leave but this time without the 'Fish and chips' line, also we now see Gonzo leave without speaking along with Lew Zealand, also remaining silent as he leaves. We still get Fozzie's line about 'hot cross bunnies' and Miss. Piggy's response like before. However, since the term "tube" is not a common term for a subway in America, this is replaced with Miss. Piggy asking Kermit the Frog why he had penguins appear in her 'Heatwave' number, to which he replies "They made you look good!" Miss. Piggy ponders Kermit's response and they walk off screen and then we see the same scene of Dudley and Lily trying to get out.
