Darren Scott Gusinow

Darren Scott Gusinow, co-founding partner of Created By Entertainment LLC, is a television producer and writer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Darren is the twin son of an entrepreneur father and a comedienne/artist mother. Having been raised with both business and creative influences, Darren is unique in that he possesses strengths as both a creative mind and a businessman. He started his first business at age 16, cleaning and servicing swimming pools, after school and on weekends. A business that he would expand a year later to include fixing and cleaning former rental homes to be sold for Real Estate agencies. Darren sold his business to attend University in San Diego, California. He left college after 3 years to found CD Optics Corp., a technology company that specialized in data management for Fortune 500 companies. Darren later sold CD Optics and transitioned into the world of sports management. He opened DSG Management, where he specialized in the representation of jockeys, in the world of horse racing. It was here that fortune led him to cross paths with Merv Griffin. Merv served as a mentor to Darren and the lessons he was taught by the TV legend are being implemented today at his own production company. Darren is currently leading Created By Entertainment in the development of all genres of television and hopes to one day expand into features. Darren lives in West Hills with his wife Andrea and their sons Cameron and Owen and their dog Lucy.
