Rosita Díaz Gimeno was married to the son of the Republican President Juan Negrín. As the picture was shot when the Spanish civil war had just started (1936) and was not premiered until 3 years after when Franco was ruling, her name as a republican actress was plainly censored from the credits, even though she was the leading lady!
