This one will stay with you!

I use to show this to my class of 4th graders every year (believe it or not it was still reel-to-reel film at that time - late 70's and early 80's). They were always very moved and impacted by it. I allowed them to invite one friend from another class and we would re-watch and discuss over their lunch/recess time. One year the class wanted to have a track meet, just like in the movie, so we created lists of events, they made ribbons for all participants, invited the other 4th grade classes to attend, got the PE teacher on board and had a wonderful afternoon (even though our class didn't receive very many of them in the end). So much came from actions and discussions. HIGHLY suggest this for any group!
