A chapter where the focus is not on our main characters, the good thing about the chapter is the end, where we discover new information. The best of this chapter is how Carol is getting more involved in the community to discover how the Commonwealth really is and Connie trying to bring to light information that people don't know. In short, a good chapter and different from the rest.
Seriously. Looking back to series 1-4 of this show. A proper zombie apocalypse series. Arguably the most incredible one ever made. To this???
I like many am watching as I feel I need to see the ending at this point but god I miss what this show used to be :(

The episode is divided into three parts.
The main focus is on Josh McDermitt who plays the protagonist in this Scooby Doo-like episode which delves into one of the mysteries of the commonwealth. And while it leads to the uncovering of secrets from some of the commonwealth's biggest players, it also drags quite a bit. However, it does show us some of McDermitt's best acting moments in the show's entire run. As well as delves more into the dynamic of Lazaro & McDermitt's character and adds more layers to major Commonwealth players.
The secondary plot revolves around McBride's character as she takes a trip with one of the most powerful members of the community. This secondary plot does nothing other than show us how powerful this man is. It's very filler-ish, and an unnecessary add to an already suffered episode.
The tertiary plot is more necessary as it focuses on Ridloff's character alongside sister Theory as they attempt to uncover the "whys" in the events of the previous episode. This plotline adds layers to the character of Mercer & gives us some world building as it shows us how journalists work in the commonwealth, which may be very significant in the arc's long run.
All in all, a decent episode that suffers from a slow-burn A plot and two slightly filler-ish B & C plots but also works to show more of the Commonwealth's world building.

The previous episode was kinda boring but this one. This was on a whole new level ..
Comparing how this show started the last few seasons and especially this one feels like stretching the story for nothing.
There are pretty much 2 3 good characters left and the best one Negan, he just walked out last time...Like it was nothing, and bye!
This is more like the Boring Dead not Walking dead. But that wouldn't even be accurate since walkers are barely showing up anymore. They are used like props used time to time to remind the audience that this was long ago a show about a zombie apocalypse.
Just end it fast please..

Slow, boring episode. Focusing on one of the weakest characters Eugene, some call him loveable, I find him tedious. This second part of the season started so well, creative camera work, good interesting dialogue and writing. This episode felt so simple, like the crew needed an easy week off. Also random side note but the music felt super goofy this episode. Maybe I've just not noticed it before idk. I just don't see where they are going with it, and I don't always mind that as long as the getting there is interesting. Hoping things pick up!

- ErroresIn this series, TWD:TWB and FTWD, the 'Commonwealth' communities both exist, yet neither seems to have crossed paths, despite the fact they exist in the region of the state of Pennsylvania.
