One of the best tv episodes ever

Wow. I am speechless. What an amazing piece of television. They really have built this story together so well. I was sceptical before Dexter came back how it would be but my word they have blown this out of the park. I never wanted to be able to watch the next episode of a show ever, can't wait to see how this ends but my god I hope they do more series after.

Come on....

....give the guy a 'and they lived happily ever after'. He deserves it. Like I thought, the previous episode was just an interlude to a great finale and a great finale it is. There were a couple of moments in this episode that didn't add up but that would be nitpicking. It's yet another great episode from a great season. Now let's see how they are going to finish it off.

Everything you could ever want in an episode of Dexter, and so much more!

Everything about this episode was amazing, every single shot was so beautifully framed, the culmination of do much emotion between Dexter and Harrison, this is apex level Dexter right here, one of the best episodes of Dexter ever produced!

This is Dexter

Wow this episode was incredible. It left me realizing how much I had missed Dexter (the earlier seasons in particular) and that I kinda wish this wasn't a one off mini-series and they will carry New Blood on. However, I guess all good things come to an end, and this next episode will give me the ending I will remember instead of the disaster that was S8EP12.

...and business is good.

Well, this penultimate episode was the best of the series, thus far. It just took way too long to get here. It's as if the cast and crew are finally rounding into shape just as the series comes to a close. The humor that is essential to the success of 'Dexter' was back. Jack Alcott had his best episode. Plot wise and direction, it recaptured that old 'Dexter' suspense.

We had to endure only one of Debs tiresome, profane tirades and only had to endure the insufferable podcaster from her voice on her website. All good. Clancy Brown continued with his compelling character and performance.

The finale is well and truly teed up.

The scene where Dexter looks into the camera and flicks the clown nose prop off of his face was not scripted. It was improvised by Michael C. Hall on set.

Errores
Dexter tells Harrison that he was around Harrison's age when he started exhibiting violent tendencies. He was actually shown numerous times in Dexter (2006) to be as young as 8 or 9 when Harry first started noticing Dexter had his urges. For example, he found out about Dexter having killed neighborhood animals and forbade Deb being given a new puppy.
