I have never seen A weaker dialog and script can somebody explain to me wtf is " Can I kiss you ? , oh never mind I'm sorry " and runs away cmon the series so far is going so randomly without a strict screenplay despite the terrible acting " except the sheriff " , sorry , I'm going to run away now .
Jasmine's (Molly Dunsworth) temptress wooing succeeds with the inevitable conclusion à la Midnight Express. Victor's pivotal role is becoming more intriguing as extra information comes to light. Better than the previous two or three episodes which dragged unnecessarily, this languid approach adds nothing to the crescendo. Now there is true tension and the next episode promises much, let's hope it delivers.
Even this deep into the season we still suffer the drudgery of exposition, now a vacuous soliloquy from the Reverend (Shaun Majumder) followed by cringeworthy dialogue between him and Boyd: Harold Perrineau - who played the terrible one-note 'save my son' character in Lost and is no better here.

Pretty much everything that happens in this episode was telegraphed in the previous episodes so you know pretty much what's going to happen.
That being said it was still a decent episode, hopefully this begins the shake up where the story moves faster and some answers are provided.

The seventh episode of "From" delivers a satisfying unraveling of secrets, showcasing the show's ability to keep viewers engaged and invested in the story. Titled "A Satisfying Unraveling of Secrets," this episode proves to be a strong addition to the first season, leaving audiences eagerly anticipating the next installment.
One of the standout aspects of this episode is the strong character development. The writers have taken the time to delve deeper into the motivations and backstories of the main characters, allowing the audience to form a stronger connection with them. The performances of the cast members are commendable, with each actor bringing depth and nuance to their respective roles.
The pacing of the episode is well-executed. The plot unfolds at a steady pace, allowing for the gradual reveal of key information without feeling rushed. The director's choice to focus on the emotional journey of the characters adds an extra layer of depth to the storytelling, making it more than just a mere mystery. The audience is kept on their toes, eagerly awaiting each new revelation.
Visually, the episode continues to impress. The cinematography is visually stunning, with each shot carefully composed to enhance the mood and atmosphere of the scene. The use of lighting and color palettes effectively conveys the emotions of the characters, adding an extra layer of depth to the storytelling. The production design and costumes remain consistent and visually appealing, creating a cohesive and immersive viewing experience.
Furthermore, the episode successfully ties up some loose ends from previous episodes while introducing new twists and turns to keep the audience engaged. The narrative continues to surprise and challenge viewers, keeping them guessing at every turn. The show's ability to maintain suspense and intrigue is a testament to its strong storytelling.
However, one minor drawback of this episode is that it introduces a few new plot threads without fully exploring them. While this may be intentional to set up future episodes, it can leave viewers wanting more immediate resolution. It is crucial for the series to provide satisfying answers in upcoming episodes to keep the audience invested in the overall story.

So glad I found this show. It's mysterious with amazing & unique thriller/horror elements that really stuck out to me.
Harold Perrineau Does an excellent job as Sheriff Boyd he holds the show literally on his back. Supporting cast members are decent some could use more acting classes nonetheless the show is a fun watch. It can be pretty slow at some points & extremely confusing but that's how they build up to those scenes that will have you hanging off the edge of your seat. Every episode leaves you asking a ton of questions. I can't wait until Season 3 I think that season will explain alot more.
I recommend especially if you're into mysteries with thriller/horror undertones.
