Just felt this was pretty predictable. I'm pretty let down on this season so far. Hopefully it gets better further on. I loved season one and was very thrilled with it. I was excited when I heard season two was confirmed with a release date. Unfortunately, this episode has let down that excitement and brought my expectations down exponentially. It just was heavily predictable, and felt like it was just trying to fit in with all the other media. I heavily dislike when shows attempt to compare to other shows, because it ruins that unique feeling and originality of the show. Season one felt original, season two seems basic based on this episode.
Peter is terrible at inconspicuously following people.
At the very beginning of the episode, they (Peter and his fellow agent) notice that the suspicious person they're tailing may believe that he's being followed, so they say "let's give him some space". In the very next scene, they're following him in the open, at most 5-10 metres behind, not even pretending to do anything else.
When a person he's following stops at any point, Peter's tactic is to also suddenly stop, and then just turn slightly to the side and essentially do nothing, no attempt to appear natural.
At the end of the episode, Peter is following a target under a bridge at night, barely using his plentiful useful surroundings to hide himself, mostly walking briskly in the single light that could alert the suspect to his presence. At least he was maybe 15 metres back this time. An improvement I guess. Shockingly, he is noticed, and the suspect flees.
I get that it's probably due to camera blocking purposes, but it still made me yell at the TV.
Otherwise, it's much of the same as season 1. Entertaining, silly, poorly written but enjoyable all the same.

I was looking forward to the new season, but Peter doesn't seem to have grown at all from last season. He runs weird as well (not sure if I noticed that last season) and the action isn't very well done.
I think bringing Rose into the show with her access with her new platform is ok. However, thinking that the government doesn't already have something similar is a bit naive.
I'm not sure why my review needs to be 600 words, but overall the episode wasn't very good. The storyline seems to be a bit of a rehash of last season (possible traitor.) I'm hopeful for the rest of the season, but this episode doesn't make me think it's going to be great.

It's a good episode, but I can't be the only one that has the Bourne Identity/Mission Impossible vibes.
A roague agent that the government is searching for because they think he is a traitor giving away secrets. I really enjoyed season 1, so I plan on continuing to watch.
I don't really have much else to say about it but IMDb makes me write out too many characters so I have another 213 characters I have to waste energy typing.
If you haven't watch the show yet, it's a good start to season two. If you haven't watched the series yet, it's a good series, go back and start at season 1. Only nine characters left. Done.

This episode elevates the character to a grander stage, placing our hero in Bangkok and presenting him in a new role as a field agent on a high-stakes spy mission. His growth is evident, and expanding the franchise internationally adds to its prestige.
The Thai outdoor scenes, though limited, enhance the show's scale, making it feel bigger and more ambitious. Seeing Peter Sutherland as a more confident and seasoned agent gives the audience a sense of having been on this journey with him. Gabriel Basso effortlessly embodies this evolved version of the character, making the transition feel natural.
The explosive premiere delivers an exciting introduction to a new conspiracy with significant stakes. Additionally, the episode introduces a new cast member who immediately stands out and is part of a explosive scene which sets the stage for the season and is an intriguing addition to the story.

- ErroresWhen Peter is waiting for Warren Stocker to appear (at about 9.00 p.m., as arranged earlier), his watch shows '9:06' but it is clearly set to 24 h display, not a.m./p.m., so it should have shown '21:06'.
