What's not to love in this episode featuring The Voice of some legendary Australian people, including the blue wiggle himself Anthony , as Rusty's father it's a tremendous story, capturing our hearts, and one of our nations greatest sports in the Bluey day countdown featuring the top 100 episodes of all time this one was the cut above, and there is a good reason why for me this episode past the parcel and trading are probably three of the absolute pinnacle episodes that really does not matter what country you are from and how you were watching, it will really speak to you in some wonderful ways what makes it even better it's a children's show but after watching it you've got a scratch your head and say why did you come to IMDb to read a review .
The Dads conspire to get Rusty out in a game of cricket.
This is one awesome episode.
I am neither Australian nor a cricketer, but appreciate this as a fantastic character story with great humour, emotion and tribute to the sport and life from a child's perspective.
Everything about it works perfectly: the simple premise; narration; flashbacks; flash forward; Dad's letter; and the beautiful moment between Rusty and Dusty.
It is the first sketch from Bluey since 'Sleeptime' to bring a stray tear to my cynical eye and considering it's just a bunch of cartoon dogs, what an effort by all involved.

One of the episodes where I have to stop and write a complain letter. I was literally eating my lunch while seeking for the last episode of bluey and this one hit me like a truck. Leave me absolutely ugly cry while still laughing because of the warm-hearted message.
I don't know are there any show that's 7 minutes long that can leave people ugly cry while feeling better? But I can guarantee there is no show that can be compared with Bluey. And this episode is not the cherry on top. It's the main meal, it's the full course. It's the one that you revisited every now and then to remember that adversaries make us stronger. Thank you Bluey!

"Pretty good aye". Leaving many Australians with a tear in the eye, sobbing or even gobsmacked at the beautiful ending leaving more questions than answers. Bringing back fond memories of the most loved game in Australia for some, for others it ignites that flame to play. I found the storyline compelling and rich. The episode as a whole encapsulates the Australian spirit towards backyard cricket, where backyard cricket is not just a game but a lifestyle for so so many Aussies. Backyard cricket brings together the neighborhood like no other backyard game could do. A well balanced soundtrack brings it all together and tugs on those heartstrings.
This is the best episode I have ever seen in my life of Bluey that's crazy. I got a 9.9, he needs a 10 out of 10 for real. Now, I'm just typing register because I have to get through quite a number of characters for this to be called fireball as a rating. So yeah, at the qualifier this, so I'm gonna just type in about 295 characters into the thing which should put me in to rate this thing yeah, I know it's a 209, but let me see, if I can get it down to 200, now it's about to get down 100 now it is I'm just gonna finish the last characters in, but this episode the best episode ever. Guaranteed fr.
