"Panchayat" - Season 3 has lost a lot of the charm that made its predecessors such impactful seasons. It has compromised its simplicity in favour of farce and over-ambition. The showrunners have converted an endearing village like Phulera into war zone with battles being fought on hardly anything substantial. Even the rural issues that they were trying to focus on, such as the Awas Yojana, have just been skimmed through. Few scenes were unnecessarily stretched.

The show has, however, successfully retained the quality of the performances - throughout the entire cast. However, one would like to see more shades in these characters - they are mostly turning out to be white characters in the absence of enough shades. We do get affable moments, the smiles and tears do get reciprocated and the comic elements in some scenes were top-notch.

I can understand that the makers were attempting to provide us with something different but in trying to be different they gave us an above average season with a cluttered and an incomplete finale. It's hardly a socio-political satire anymore.

"Panchayat" - Season 3 tried to fly close to the sun like Icarus and burnt its wings.

Just now finished the series, i travel 45 km daily Changing two trains and metro , I started this series today around 3 pm and watched continue during traveling and here I am finishing this series at 11.39 PM

I am telling this in this way because I did not found a single scene where I felt that I should leave the PHONE aside yes due to travelling I had and that's why the duration is too long

This is the masterpiece no Indian webseries can compare with this .

Yes some people will say that this time there is some violence but they have showed the reality of rural area .

Those who will not like it I can understand they might have not seen anything like this in their villages but I have scene such poltics and fights so I can relate with it .

Overall it's a wonderful series for me and I loved it.
