I hear all of your reviews re: Justice for LM. Do you think it's possible that this was written long before the incident that you're all alluding to & that this is a coincidence? So much has to be in place before story lines are taped. It's quite possible that this was already done filming before the incident occurred. I honestly do not know the timeline of writing, production, filming, etc. Because I'm not a professional in the industry of producing a series drama, and, if I am wrong on the timing, that's on me. I'm just not quite sure how so many of you apparently used to be fans of the show & suddenly when there's a coincidence, no research into timelines for production. Not here to argue; I'm just saying that it's possible...

What a disgusting attempt to cash in on recent events to try to remain relevant. Don't watch this trash. Instead consider donating to Luigi's defense fund. People are tired of what the Healthcare system in the US had become and this is just a pathetic attempt to profit off the woes of the American people.

I can't even remember the last time I saw an episode of law and order. It sounds like they're on their last leg and just limping along, desperatel to get back to its former glory. Do people still watch this brainless excuse for a drama series? I was surprised to find this show was still on the air.

This show is a disgrace to storytelling and a blatant attack on basic human rights. By portraying an untried individual as a criminal, it recklessly disregards the foundation of any fair justice system-the presumption of innocence. It exploits public curiosity and sensationalism, turning a real person's life into a spectacle for profit, without accountability or care for the consequences. This is not just bad writing; it's dangerous media. It encourages viewers to pass judgment based on fiction rather than fact, further damaging the life of someone who hasn't even had the chance to defend themselves in court. Reducing someone's suffering to a plotline may get ratings, but it's ethically bankrupt and morally corrupt. This is not entertainment-it's character assassination masked as drama.

Where do you start? I agree that this thinly designed plot is clearly based on the case of alleged murderer Luigi Mangione, but the fictional killer is far more sympathetic- which makes me wonder about the morals of the writers - Team Wolf tends to lean very progressive- or if they're cynically milking the issue. The judge's rulings were ludicrously prejudicial (typical NYC activist judge) and ripe for overturning if the verdict was Not Guilty and the prosecution appealed - and it would have to because such a verdict would essentially destroy civilized society.

Seriously, Sam needs to leave the DA's office because she is incapable of disregarding her feelings and opinions to apply the law AS WRITTEN in many cases. This stinks because she reinforces the stereotype of women being too emotional to be trusted to do the job properly.

However, the most offensive- and IMO, careless- action in an episode full of them was the ending.

Entertainment people claim to want to educate people and promote certain viewpoints, but don't want to accept responsibility when people take them.seriously and behave badly in real life. This is a perfect example - like the greedy insurance executives targeted by little guys- someone putting ratings or eyeballs or clicks over potential harm.

I've always been a fan of Law&Order for years. Obv I won't watch it ever again. Airing an episode about someone who has not faced a trial yet it's such a blatant attempt to taint a jury pool. Just disgusting. Your show has always been obviously inspired by real events but not in a such blatant way. The insurance CEO, the hoodie, everything. You should be ashamed of yourself. This kid is facing very serious charges. When did US forget about the fact that a fair justice system (fair trial) is the basis of a democratic Country? You didn't even bother to not write 'ripped from headlines' in your promo...
