Langlang Shan Xiao Yao Guai

It's a really average movie.

Plot: It's a typical journey from A to B with obstacles in the way type of movie. Unfortunately there is little momentum built in the story in the various stops on the way to the destination. It feels quite meaningless and uninteresting.

Visuals: the background painting is attractive, the characters are attractively designed, quite comedic appearances. The animation is very juvenile, the type of immature humour and screaming you will see on douyin. The style of artwork looks pretty and mature, but the animation is more akin to nailong or tom and jerry.

Soundtrack and voiceover: The voice acting is notably terrible here. Immature, juvenile like watching short videos on tiktok for children. This type of low iq humour. The voice actors do not have much creativity, the character's voiceover doesn't have much identity and the voiceover has the stiffness of a newscasters accent and delivery. The soundtrack is very minimal, a lot of the movie is near silence, atmosphere is poor and soundtrack is average and sparse.
