Just watched the movie, was it a masterpiece? No.
Was it a mess? Yes.
Was I entertained while watching one of the dumber movies this year? Hell yes.
This is definitely movie aimed at the younger generation of people, and if you are above 30, and feel like reliving your childhood once again, it's not for you, it will only anger you.
Did I watch Smurfs when I was younger? Sure, It wasn't the show of my times, but I still watched it.
This movie is something completely different. Takes the Smurfs and flips it on its head, using lore and adding completely weird things into the mix.
Comedy in the movie is just straight up dumb and it contains some amount of slapstick. You like this type of humor? You'll laugh. If not, give up, don't watch it.
I had a fun time. Maybe I've watched too many bad movies recently and this one just shines from the pile, but I know one thing... This movie is just overhated. And a lot of reviews and ratings are given by people who didn't even bother watching the movie.

I have never seen something so cringe and unfunny. At the same time I've been bored watching it.
The movie bombards you with the jokes about balls, poo and pee. That's the extent of the humor in this atrocious insult to filmmaking. There even is 1-2 minutes sacrificed for a "funny" scene of 1 dog eating cat's poo. And the entire scene is about him eating it, and swallowing it even after others told him he is eating cat's poo. HOW IS THIS FUNNY!?

Creators force you to watch dogs participating in coitus etc MULTIPLE TIMES.
Every time you blink there are balls or "end hole" of a dog pushed in your face.
There is 1 scene I actually laughed at, and it's in the last 10 minutes of the movie.
Other than that I was watching this trash and I wanted to End It.
And this came from Samurai Jack's creator. This is just sad at this point.
