Geoffrey Giuliano

Geoffrey was cast as The Marvelous Magical Burger King on television right out of drama school and, after completing his contract with Burger King Corporation, went on to play Ronald McDonald on the North American TV commercials.

I have trouble relating to the art of acting strictly as commerce. It's certainly not like buying a pair of shoes for a dollar and selling them for two. To me acting in films is an honor and a privilege hard fought for and rarely achieved. It is in many ways sacred and I hate to see the industry (and the people who run it) carving it up and wrapping it all around the dollar. To me a good actor should be paid no more than a good plummer. Acting can be a very pure expression of the human spirit. When people start equating such an intimate personal art form with big business I must admit I get a little chilly.
