It is a totally forgotten and also forgettable TV show that could have been far better. I watched it because it takes place in the French countryside during the seventeenth century, several decades before the Revolution. There is romance, treason, duels, social message concerning the rich vs poor people fight. Everything is predictable. But once in a while, it seemed that some surprises could happen in the characters depiction, something unusual...But no, the final result is lousy, lame, cheesy. Historical French adventure dramas used us to far better stories. I will continue to rreview as many as possible from the French achives.
