Follow the exploits of a bumbling investigative journalist as he struggles to discover the truth behind enigmatic horror author H.P. Lovecraft and his mysterious past. Along the way strange and macabre tales play out, pulling the reporter ever deeper into the writer's mystical world. Will the journalist finally prevail or will he end up without a clue as usual? One thing's for sure, the truth is out there... he's just not entirely sure where.

Anecdotes
The opening swamp scene of the movie was originally intended to take place in a marsh in the south of Germany. When the location fell through it was decided that it would be more in keeping with the film's often self-deprecatory style of humor to change the setting of the scene to a kiddie pool in someone's backyard.

Gaffes
During the credits, all of the actor's names are shown on the left side while the character's names are on the right.

However, the character: Randolph Carter - in "The Statement of Randolph Carter" - and the actor portraying him: Jeffrey Velazquez, have their entries reversed.

Citations
Journalist: Lovecraft was born in Providence Road Island on August 20th, 1890. This... is not his home.

A very creative spin on H.P. Lovecraft. The combination of horror plus comedy is something that I enjoyed very much! The DVD extras were very cool to view. The Easter Egg and Music Videos were exceptional! Keep 'em coming Elias and T.O.T.S., you guys together exude explosive vibes! I am looking forward to seeing whatever future projects that springs forth from such talented individuals.

Kudos also to each and every film-maker presented in LovecraCked the movie. It was nice to see the many different styles that everyone presented. It is definitely an honor for me to have this particular DVD, as a part of my growing DVD collection.
