- AnecdotesActress and model Nikki Novak was discovered in her native Canada by a scout for Elite Model Management. She quickly became a top international model, living and working in the industry's most prestigious markets including Paris, Milan, New York, London, Tokyo and Sydney. She has graced the pages of publications such as Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, In Style and Bazaar. While in Paris, she landed a coveted cosmetics contract with Clarins. She has walked runways for designers such as Dolce and Gabbana, shot campaigns for numerous brands like Tommy Hilfiger Perfume, and has been shot by renowned fashion photographers Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino and Walter Chin.
Nikki soon transitioned into television work, shooting more than 20 national commercials including Aquafresh, V8, Michelob, Lubriderm, Hershey's, Bud Light and Dannon. On her first acting audition, she read for director Oliver Stone, who cast her in the feature film L'enfer du dimanche (1999). Since relocating to Los Angeles, she has worked opposite actors such as Kate Winslet in The Holiday (2006), and Jack Nicholson in Sans plus attendre (2007). Nikki has been a red carpet host and correspondent for E! Networks and Showtime. More recently she appeared on the television shows Dexter (2006), Dirty Sexy Money (2007), La nouvelle vie de Gary (2008) and Lie to Me (2009). Her first leading role came in the independent feature Last Ounce of Courage (2012).
