For as beautiful as Chasey Lain is, there have been several movies where I have been disappointed in some of her performances. Maybe it was because this film was a little earlier in her career than most of the others I've seen, but she seemed interested in doing more.
I'm usually a plot man when it comes to watching this type of films (I like having something to connect the action scenes together), but this film doesn't seem to have much of a plot. Basically, it's an "interview" with Chasey, describing her favorite "old movies," but putting a "happier ending" on them when the scene fades to black. There isn't much in the way of continuity, but I guess we aren't really watching this film for continuity or plot, are we?
The film contains four long scenes, each lasting 15 minutes plus, and Chasey is involved in 3 of them. Scene 1 is Chasey with adult film veteran Joey Silvera. Scene 2 is Peter North with Tera Heart(?), Scene 3 is a 3-girl scene with Chasey and two others, and Scene 4 is a 3-on-1 scene with Chasey, Jonathan Morgan, Peter North, and Tom Byron, if I remember correctly. There may have been one more scene, but these 4 were the most memorable.
As for Chasey's performance, she appeared to be more willing in this film. In other Chasey films I had watched, all her male counterparts had been protected, and the "money shot" was never anywhere near being a facial. In this one, although there are still some things she won't do (which I appreciate - I'm not into *that*), she seemed to be actively involved in the climax. I was much more pleased with her performance in this film than in any others I've seen of hers.
Overall, the film was solid, aside from its plot limitations. Action scenes tended to follow the traditional pattern (girl shows admiration, guy returns favor, they work together to achieve the common goal). Camera angles and performer positions are pretty typical of this type of film. Definitely worth a watch if you're a Chasey fan or fan or a fan of this genre.
