The script follows Alejandro, a professional pilot who, after hiding a health problem, ends up being blackmailed by the intelligence services. The film quickly transforms into a spiral of subtle threats and forced obedience, where each of his choices is less a choice and more a reaction, as if each step were taken in an airport corridor. Long, excessively lit, and impossible to deviate from.
Behind the plot lies a biting critique of the institutional power game, where the individual becomes a disposable piece and the truth is negotiated like extra baggage.
Alejandro, portrayed with precision by Guillermo Francella, is the soul of the film. His expression of perpetual exhaustion and his attempt to maintain dignity transform the character into a human portrait of someone struggling to survive his own collapse. The agents, always calculating, function as a symbol of cold oppression. Those faces that never show emotion precisely because they hold too much power. Personal relationships, especially the marital one, reinforce the protagonist's isolation; even in intimate spaces, he seems like a man exiled from himself. The film understands well that the most painful tension is not physical, but moral.
The aesthetic is clean, almost clinical. The cold palette reinforces the feeling of constant surveillance, as if every corridor, window, and booth were watching the protagonist as much as the agents.
