Jennifer Hudson(I)

Was not in attendance at the 2007 BAFTA Awards ceremony when she was won the award as Best Supporting Actress for Dreamgirls (2006). Actor and fellow BAFTA-nominee, Daniel Craig, accepted the award on her behalf. Her award was shipped to her but got lost in the mail. In 2011, Hudson appeared on British talk show, Jennifer Hudson/K D Lang/Bill Bailey (2011), where Norton surprised her with the award.

[on her Dreamgirls (2006) role] I never gave up hope of playing Effie. They would talk to me and then look at other people and then come back to me... but I always had the faith. I had to separate myself from the process and not think about it too much or I'd go crazy.
