- Ronald Lewis was a Welsh actor kept busy in British films throughout the 1950s. In the 1960s, however, his career slackened off appreciably, and the situation got worse in the 1970s. He was declared bankrupt in 1981 and committed suicide by means of a barbiturate overdose in January 1982.
