- Peter Palmer was born on September 20, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He was an actor, known for Li'l Abner (1959), Edward Scissorhands (1990) and CBS Summer Playhouse (1987). He was married to Mary Lou "Aniko" Farrell and Jackalee Ann Gleason. He died on September 21, 2021 in Tampa, Florida, USA.

- Tall, powerfully-built U.S. Army veteran, with an equally powerful baritone voice, best known for the title role in the Broadway and film versions of "L'il Abner." Concentrated primarily on stage work thereafter, with only occasional forays into TV and films.
- Served in the U.S. Army. He entered and won "The All Army Entertainment Contest," and the winners were on "The Ed Sullivan Show".
- Palmer's late wife Aniko Farrell was a Broadway actress and former Miss Canada. The couple did a great deal of local theater together before her death.
